I'm a sensitive nurturing woman. I have been doing home health since 2017. I enjoy this line of work because of the satisfaction you feel putting a smile on someone's loved one face. I've always enjoyed taking care of others since I was a child I consider it my favorite hobby! The most fulfilling thing I've done while working is this field was caring for my 102 great aunt until her passing. The bond we developed was so blessed and helped me with her transition!

I started caregiving over ten years ago and found out that helping other people In there time of need and to make them as comfortable as possible was what I wanted to do in life. I'm very responsible, attentive and reliable. You can contact any of my former clients or their families and they will all tell you that I become family. I've worked with Child care, autism , Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer patients, stroke and the elderly. I take them to doctors appointments, physical therapy, grocery store. I do light house keeping. Prepare all meals. Medication reminders. I assist with all bathroom needs.

I have tremendous empathy, patience and respect for each client. I treat each one as I do my father, whom I have been caring for the last 7years.Before caregiving, I managed restaurants for 23 years. I have ALWAYS been a customer service focused person. I wanted to make a change that fulfilled my heart. The thing I enjoy most about my job is assisting people with retaining their independence and self respect, even with a disability. Everyone needs to feel productive, like they contribute. The personal achievement that I am most proud of is that in the last year I have gotten my dad into the best mental, nutritional health that he has been in in the last 30 years.

I have been a caregiver for 8yrs i love helping the elderly have a big heart for it. I went to cna school as well. . I enjoy talking to elderly and making a difference in their life. Hi! I am a non-smoking, reliable, patient, and caring person who has approximately 6 years of experience caring for the elderly. Experience with Early to Moderate Dementia & Lewy Bodies Dementia. I love animals (I have 3 dogs) cooking healthy meals, reading, and knitting. I also provide light housekeeping, meal prep, bathing/dressing, medication prompting and running errands. I prefer to work in a non-smoking environment. My current clients range in age from 58 to 96 years of age with various medical needs including Multiple Sclerosis (Secondary Progressive) I provide companionship, memory exercises to strength training exercises for mobility and balance. Tossing a light weight medicine ball (2lbs - 5lbs) as well as exercising with Resistance Loop Exercise Bands & Single Flat Exercise Resistance Bands and walking. I treat my clients like they are my own parents. Good conversation, helping with anything they need, playing board games, watching tv, doing puzzles and arts and crafts.

I am a natural advocate. I am passionate about everything I do in life. And I love making people smile. I chose caregiving because I am in school for healthcare; I love science and my emphasis is epidemiology. More than anything I love to hear people's life story, I feel caregiving provides the bridge to form a special trust, and experience another person's life. Caregiving enables me become more familiar with empathy, and to more intimately recognize the reality of the human condition.

Being a Caregiver is really natural for me. I have 3 years of CNA work experience . That was my first job after H.S and loved it! I did take a Medical Assistant course after that and have been in that position for about 15 years. I missed being able to have a more closer relationship with people and being a Caregiver I get to do just that and more.

I became a caregiver for my Mother and found out that I enjoyed this line of work. I have an over abundance of patience and love helping others. I'm caring and compassionate and always put clients happiness and comfort first.
