I am a very loyal caregiver. I started my career taking care of my elderly mother until her last breath. Though I put my life on hold to care for my mother, it was a time I consider to be a blessing. It began my love for care giving. The most recent Home Care Provider was for a client-friend I served for over 7 years. I cared for him up until his very last breath. In the 7 years I worked for him I never called in sick. I feel my expertise is adapting to the clients needs not just in the physical, but emotionally, and by way of companionship. I enjoy the career of care-giving because it truly is a career that is far reaching and meaningful beyond my imagination.

I truly believe to be an excellent caregiver you must put the clients needs & feelings first. I strive to make sure all my clients maintain their sense of normalcy and dignity. I have experience with caregiving for clients that are under the age of 10 & over the age of 80. On a personal note: I was my mothers caregiver for the last 2 years of her life. She was on & off of hospice while she battled a liver & lung disease. Currently, I'm a Respite Worker for clients that have a range of health issues. (Downs Syndromes, Deafness, Autism Spectrum Disorder) I have completed my Senior Caregiver training required by the state of California to attain a license as a home care aide. I have also completed several Carelinx education courses & I am open to taking any class my client might request. My goal is for future clients & their families to feel ease of mind that I am a capable caregiver.

I have over 6 years of experience with clients that have suffered from Cancer, Neuropathy, large wounds, eye blindness and blood disorders. In this profession it's important that we both make a perfect fit for one another. I'm a hard worker and I've never left my clients stranded and have never called in sick. It's very important to me that once I take a client in that's my responsibility. I can cook well and I'm very tidy. I'm experienced in using walkers, wheelchairs and walking canes. I'm experienced in senior exercise programs. I can do all bathing, dressing and grooming. Transportation is not a problem, I have a reliable car with insurance that can fit a portable wheelchair.
