Watching my grandfather and grand mother, slowly pass, showed me how I just wanna be in care and be able to help more people like my grandparents. My grandfather died of ALS, and it broke my heart to watch him go from running his company and church to basically in the end, being completely incapacitated, but although he couldn't move a muscle to speak or care for himself, his mind was completely cognizant of all that was happening. It was heartbreaking to witness. That was when I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Hello! I am a caring, outgoing and bubbly mother of 3. I am so passionate about being a caregiver, nothing makes me feel more satisfied then helping my elders. I became a caregiver when my cousin and I were very young, as she needed a lot of help and her mother was always very busy. As I got older, I realized I loved being a caregiver and decided to make a career out of it. Being a caregiver brings me so much joy, nothing makes me happier then giving back to and helping those who devoted their whole lives to taking care of us.

I consider myself to be a very hard worker and very responsible. I'm bilingual so I speak both English and Spanish very fluent . My grandma is the main reason that I decided to be a caregiver. When she was really sick I was always there to help her with anything she really couldn't do on her own and I loved it and now I like working as a caregiver because you get to meet a lot of new people and see the smile on their face when you help them with something or it feels really good when they get to trust you and start telling you stories about their life. It warms my heart .
