One of my most meaningful experiences involved a client placed on hospice care and given just three days to live. After one month under my care, he graduated from hospice and went on to live for an additional two years, reaching the age of 100. This experience reflects my deep commitment to compassionate, consistent, and high-quality care.

I later helped take care of my grandparents whom were both ill at the same time which inspired me to start being a full time caregiver. I enjoy helping people, communication, cooking and traveling, driving. I'm a patient person so if you are challenged getting around it doesn't bother me. Sewing, and crafting, gardening are my hobbies. I'm a mother of three and grandmother of three.

I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .
