I have been a Director of a care facility for the past 10 years. I have enjoyed a lifetime of providing person centered care when needed. I enjoy spending my life caring for others and I enjoy how full my life is to have so many wonderful people in my life. I work well with a variety of people. I do a through job of provided hands on personal care as well as doing brain engaging activities.

Hello I'm Ladonna, I am 35 years old, I have three children two girls and a boy ages from 15,10,7. I love being a caregiver because I feel like I miss a lot with my grandparents and I get so close with my clients it's really sad sometimes but you know I enjoy it because I love them just like I would love my own mother or grandmother or father or grandfather. I have also worked with a special needs I had a client he had cerebral palsy and he was in his sixties I worked with him for about 2 years and I just love him and he loves me, we hated to part ways, but things happened and you know I just wasn't able to stay with him and we still talk from time to time and I feel in spots for him. Also I have references. I think that I'm funny, I'm a very good listener, I'm a good cleaner, I have patience, I'm very Stout I can lift quite a bit so that would be an issue if I had to lift them . But most of all I have a good heart ;) And I love the Lord. I trust him with every aspect of my life today. Hi, My name is April. I first noticed I had an interest in taking care of people at very young age. I grew up around my grandmother taking care of the disabled and I would notice how some staff members would treat them and it broke my heart. I absolutely love taking care of people because I know that's one more person I can help and especially if they have a good time with you they become family. I'm extremely good at remembering things that has to be done and I always try to make them feel comfortable and let them know they aren't bothering me with anything they want or need that's what I'm there for. A personal achievement would be working with someone who doesn't like people and having them like me in the end.

I am wanting to try to find something closer to home because I am having to drive over an hour one way to get to and from work. I am very outgoing, I love to be around people and make others happy. I love making my residents happy and I will go over the top to make sure they have what they need because they deserve it. If you clock in and go to work you need to do what is expected of you, and that's your job. I do not like when people half do their jobs. especially working in patient care. these are people that you are dealing with and your job needs to be taken seriously. I am very dedicated in what I do.
