Hello my name is ChaunteNicole I'm a mother of 4. I'm from California. My husband is retired military and we have made North Carolina our home. I love working within the healthcare field. I have my associates in healthcare administration and clinical. I love helping people working with them to have a better quality of life. I always had a love for the healthcare field and being able to help and provide services for those who can or can't no longer do for themselves or can. I love to just be there for someone who doesn't have a person or just need someone so they don't feel so lonely.

Hi, I am Amanda from Morehead city, NC. I was born here and raised. I love helping and working with the elderly!!! From giving them company, to playing a board game, watching t.v. or even going for a walk. Or even crafts. What attractive me to helping elderly is when I used to work for a cleaning company we would sometimes even end up watching the customer love one that need care. Even sometimes even own customer as well in some cases to even sometimes coming to there house end up having to call medical help due to finding them on the floor etc. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is love to clean one. I love helping the elderly also makes me happy to see that they come first and when they have a good day. Love seeing them happy and being part of there life and treat them respect, Make feel safe!!!

Hi! I was a stay at home mom for years and as they got old enough for school I decided to get back in the working class. I've always had the compassion and empathy it takes to care for people. I am 40 years old. I was an LPN for 19 years. I have been a personal caregiver for the past 3 years. In my nursing career I have worked in nursing homes and in a critical care hospital. I enjoyed both very much but my heart is in geriatric care. I have specialized in caring for dementia patients for the majority of my career. I love taking care of people and take great pride in my work. I have learned a lot while working in the healthcare field but my favorite thing about this work is that you continue to learn new things every day. Each person I care for is different and original in the things they like and dislike and getting to know them is key to being the best caregiver I can be. No matter what I learned in school the best education I could ever get comes from getting to know each one individually and having the opportunity to work with them.

I love working with seniors! I enjoy the challenge of getting to know them and what they like to do.So I can make this transition of a different caregiver.spring and summer I love to get them outside only if they can do it I dont treat my patients like a job I truly care about them. I'm honest,hard working, always on time if not early.i have never been fired, I have worked 12 dementia patients, 6 stroke patients, 1 cidp a rare formula if M.S., paralyzed from the waist down she mostly got around in a scooter she was only 54. I also had a patient with M.S. and her husband had a anyourism went infor surgery and had a stroke while on the table lost oxygen to his brain and couldn't remember who he was he went from PhD taught aAR, different colleges took a group of freshman to Europe and did it every summer for more then ten years it was so hard for him Hurricane Sandy the shelter didn't have any bed that could handle the weight of her and her husband wouldn't calm down so they set it up with a nursing home she lasted8 weeks and him 4 weeks I worked with them from 1997-2007 they didn't have any children so I guess I became theirs ,I did it all wooden board transfer to wheel chair,shower chair, commode, medication management, shopping for groceries whatever was needed I did I had same shift everyday except I ha l f a week a month I don't have any kidsjust a step son who's 30 and married so I love to care for seniors I want help them when they can't do it for them selves it gives .e great joy I have a whole list of seniors that I cared for to the best of my ability hopefully we will be able to have a phone call and I can answer any question you may have for hope to hear from you soon!

I first became a care giver in 2018 and did all the training at my community college. I worked at carteret Landing to get some experience and now I'm looking for a home care position to help out families. I worked in a memory care unit and have experience with all types of elderly, some had dementia, schizophrenia, anything else you name it. I've always had outstanding results with all my residents and they grew very close to me.
