A little over 10 years ago I got a call from my aunt while at work that my mom had almost fallen from a step ladder at my house. She was by herself and we had just lost my dad to his battle with cancer a few months prior so it was on that day that I quit my job as an event planner to stay home and care for my elderly mother. She has forever changed my view on the importance of caring for loved ones in times of need. My family lost a wonderful soul over a year ago and I find myself wanting to share my compassion, love, and assistance to other seniors who are in need because I believe in sharing this blessing with others to live each day to its fullest.

I wanted more so I now work with adult with intellectual disabilities as a direct support professional and Supportive living assistant. I am very genuine, goofy, Fun, caring, loving, punctual, adventurous, hard working, and I always go the extra mile. I wanted to be in the medical field ever since I was 6 years old watching my grandmother go through malpractice, neglect, physical abuse and starvation by her Nurses Aide. My Grandfather felt hopeless and killed himself, and my grandmother was still going through it. I kneeled down at age 8 and said " don't worry mama I'm going to become a registered nurse and take care of you myself, we will have a big house and a nice car I promise". She just responded with a "mhmm". She ended up passing away a bit later. After that I kept my same promise for other people because I refuse to let anyone go through what I seen. I treat everyone like family.
