My name is Whitney,I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I have a friendly, caring personality,also outgoing. I have a lot of experience from dementia, tracheostomy, catheter (male and female), diabetic, amputee,transfer,full transfers,and partial assist,hoyer life, sliding board, bathing,and home making just to name a few things so you can have an idea of some of things I have a experience in,but I assure you I did not name all of them. I've always wanted to be able to help people who needed assistance,and that just wanted some company. Being a caregiver is an amazing job, it's the one on one that you get with the clients, being one on one,helps you to actually get to know your clients. I am in school now to become an Registered Nurse,that is something that I've always wanted to do since I was a little girl.

I am a 41 year old Happy Mother of a sweet 20 year old Wonderful son. Most of my adult life ive just been a mother and all my choices were about my son, now is time for me. I love camping and living a simple life, and i love my animals. I have been a caregiver in one form or another most of my life because I love to help people. I have had several part time caregiver roles over the years and helped many families take care of there loved ones and i have good references if needed. I have also been a child care provider from my home and i love to help and take care of children as well. I have those references as well if needed. My proudest personal achievement is my son, seeing him be grown and making a life for himself and now getting to go on and make a new life for myself that's about doing what I want to do and what is best for me.

I do provide non - medical care assistance based on my years of professional care giving experience in long term care and rehabilitation , hospice, home health care and hospital care. I have worked as a Behavioral Health Technician, working with developmentally disabled adults in group homes to provide healthy, safe, and productive home environments moving up to leadership roles receiving team leader role. I also worked in homes assisting immobile patients with showering, getting dressed, transferring to wheelchairs, and making breakfast. Assisted patients in achieving health goals working on weight loss and a healthy mindset, and setting micro habits to obtain overall wellness. I love assisting people and creating a healthy environment with quality and genuine companionship. One achievement as a caregiver that I am very proud of is his helping a patent think outside the box and empowering him to overcome the obstacles to feed himself independently for the first time at 28 years old.
