I am very well suited for the Field of Care Giving. I am a CNA. I am compassionate. I care very much about my Client's situation in life and want to do my best to help them cope and endure with their various health concerns. Also, I have more than 20 years in the care of others with various Ailments. I was attracted to this Field as a result of my Mother and Sisters involvement as well as my being a naturally caring person. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my Clients. I look for opportunities to improve their care in whatever way I can. A couple of things I am very proud of is being able to understand and communicate successfully with a Client who is a Stroke Victim. Also, finding a solution to help relieve the severe irritation of a Client's scalp.

I'm a mother of 4. I have been working in the medical field for 28years. I'm also a NRCMA have experience in home health also in a family practice clinic and urent care clinics as well.I have worked alot with Dementia/Alzheimer's patients. I'm also certified in First Aid/ CPR. Im a very loving and personable person.

I'm very passionate about being a Caregiver. I never had the pleasure of meeting any of my grandparents so I have always wonder what it felt like. So being a Caregiver has introduced me to wonderful people. I have enjoyed baking cookies, listening to old love stories, as well as old war stories. I can surely see and feel how special grandparents and Elderly really are. I love the warmth of smiles, the hugs, and the sincere gratitude that's shared. I feel I would best work this position or any giving because I have great people's skills. I love taking care of kids and adults are not as bad. I have a 69 Year old uncle who's retired and had me get the feel of a Care Giver. I would run strands, Make food, Bathe him, Played music and watched tv with him for hours . What I enjoyed most was how he'll sit and talk to me about his past and things I never knew about. I could keep my uncle smiling and laughing all day. I don't have much experience except taking care of him in the health care field it lasted 2 years on and off though because I also have 2 kids.

Previous experience as a Licensed Medication Technician in addition, I am a Licensed Phlebotomist with a VERY gentle hand, extensive training and hands-on experience in venipuncture, capillary puncture, and special collection techniques, which means I can do in- home labs so that your loved one can be comfortable in their own home. Hello my name is Demeteries Hawkins. I've been a Patient Care Assistant for over 20 years. Growing up being the oldest of 6 siblings I had to be the caregiver due to my mother working long hours as a nurse. In my adult life I've had many jobs but no fulfillment until I started caring for others. I found my purpose and calling. I truly enjoy/ love being a caregiver it brings so much joy and self gratification. My mother played a big part of why I love being a caregiver. seeing the love, she gave, and the return love played a big roll. It feels good to know that I have gained a client trust as well as the assurance that I will take care of them. To see them smile or just help them through a rough day knowing that they can count on me is a great reward. I've had a client I had just started with ask me, is this just a job or do you care? I care about what I do. This is one of the biggest questions that a client or family member has when looking for a caregiver. Staying positive, going beyond the call of duty, compassionate, caring, outgoing, patience, etc. To have the opportunity to care for your loved one or self would be a privilege and a blessing.

I have been a caregiver since 2009. I love the feeling I get from being needed and helping the elderly or disabled people. I mainly have worked for home health agencies and care homes. Im quiet, hardworking, patient and very understanding. I feel if anyone pays you to do a job and you agree to it, you tey to give that job 100 percent! I have been raised by my grandmother and have been with her until she passed away. She has a hip replacement and I was taking care of her all the time and I loved doing it. That's why I become a caregiver,because I am a very compassionate person who is caring and very responsible. I love talking Care of people specially for the elderly and sick one. And wherever I went to work with, patient and their families really appreciate what I do and they let my employer know, and I was very proud of myself.
