I am a great empathetic caregiver because I am very compassionate about my work. I have been working in healthcare for over 6 years now. I'm just a person who is always reaching out to help people. I wanted to join healthcare ever since I was a little girl because I inspired to be someone that is able to help someone in need. I have 30 years of experience in providing personal in-home care for disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and hospice patients. I assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. I monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. I am a thoughtful and considerate person who takes pride in providing the best care possible. I became a caregiver through the influence of my great aunt and grandmother as they were the neighborhood caregivers. I watched them as a child and knew I wanted to do the same thing. I began by taking care of my grandmother when she became home bound in her older age. For the past three years, I was the care taker for my mother after she suffered a stroke. The thing I enjoy the most is feeling a sense of joy and humility in assisting those in need in conducting their activities of daily living. They are so appreciative. I consider it a personal achievement when they recover and there is no further need of my services. That confirms that my work with them has improved their quality of life.

Iwas a nanny for 19 years, as I grew idecided to change from taking care of the young ones then I joined Caregiving which I really love to do with all my heart. What I enjoy is giving a hand wherever it's needed.Ilike listening to their stories some have interesting stories,I like to see them happy. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is it helps me greatly and gives me the courage to take care of my son who is autistic. I have taken care of a lot of Client for all this years and being able to take care of a particular Client for more than 4years when Doctors had told the family She had 6 months to live a lone makes my happy. Care is not only about taking care of someone but as to how you treat the person and make them feel makes a huge difference. That made me so proud of my self because it made me realize I made a difference and I did my job as a caregiver and recognized the client as a family of my own

I became a caregiver because I believe it is in my nature and I am compassionate about helping others. I like being a caregiver because no matter how hard I may work or how my day is going, it doesn't feel like work. I would like to help others by doing what I like. I am a mother of four, very energetic and friendly. I recently left my position full time for a major dialysis company in downtown Baltimore and have been in healthcare for a while and started working for Catholic Charities in May 2017, part time on the weekends. I am hoping to start nursing school fall 2017 and would prefer to work overnight Monday thru Wednesday or Thursday but I have open availability and flexibility with my schedule. My personal achievements that I'm honestly most proud of are my children. I am a Certified Nursing Assitant and Cettified Medication Technician through the Maryland Board of Nursing. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

I am a hardworking mom of 4 and I always treat people the way I want to be treated. I am always on time with my job and always making sure that I provide good services and all time. I am a happy, honest, loving, funny and dedicated to my job. I love hiking, watching movies, eating and hanging out with my kids during my off time.
