Hi my name is Brittney. I am 31 years young. I love helping people and seeing the smiles on the families faces. Not many people have the capacity to be a caregiver. I love it. I love seeing my patients get better and be their happy selves. I am so proud of myself for getting on at the hospital and helping Cancer and dimentia patients get the help they need.

I am 19 years old with 3 year experienced Personal Care Assistant. I started Personal Care at a young age helping and taking care of my Grandparents. I enjoy caregiving because I like to help other people with any type of disability's. I enjoy being able to make my clients feel safe and happy. Graduating from college was an goal I attempted years ago , I went back and succeeded.

My name is RiKera Thornton I have been working in the healthcare field for over 12 years I started this journey in high school because I have always had a passion for taking care of others, it makes me feel good to offer care for those who may not be able to for themselves any longer or one's that just need that extra push to remind them that they can do it. Taking care of others brings me great joy and I've tried other career pathways but none have my heart as much as being a caregiver. While I have typically worked in a dental clinical setting for most of those years I have always put my patient first and their specific needs as my priority. While in high school I did obtain my CNA license but went a different educational path from nursing to receiving my Dental Assisting certification. I hold a current CPR/AED for BLS Skills for a professional rescuer. Proficiency in medication management. As well as SPICE certified per OSHA guidelines. While I loved the field and found it rewarding I also found that a work/life balance was not able to be reached. My son, who is autistic, has been a big motivator in my switching of careers. He has taught me more patience and understanding of people with diverse needs. My name is Tammy and I am a former middle and high school teacher. I had a major career change in 2020 due to health issues and again in 2022 when my sweet Pops transitioned. I gave up my teaching career altogether to care for Mama, as Pops asked me to do. Given that Mama does not require around the clock care, I have been able to branch out and provide help to other families both in an assisted living community, and as a private caregiver. It is SUCH an HONOR and privilege to help our seniors at this time in their lives. I have enjoyed every single minute of my time with each person and have learned so much as a result of my time with them.
