I know after taking care of my mother in her home how hard it is to find good help. I am semi-retired...I want to help with a family/families that are trying to keep mom or dad out of the nursing home or just need temporary help for recovery. I prefer 2nd or 3rd shift hours, but may consider otherwise.

I'm very outgoing loving caregiver, I love elderly and children. I am a huge animal lover and I love to build relationships with my clients and treating them as my family. My attraction to becoming a caregiver began when my Opa was diagnosed with Alzheimer and dementia, I took care of him and grew love for the field and became very attached to everyone that I took care of. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is starting school and working my way up to starting my own assisted living and home care business.

Hello! My name is Apolonia and I am currently working fulltime as a CNA at Clearview in Juneau, WI. I started the nursing assistant program back in 2009 in my senior year of high school and became certified in 2010 shortly after my son was born. However, my first job working with elderly was as an activity aide for the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center in Waupun. I really enjoyed being able to get the residents out of their rooms to share laughs, reminisce about the good old days, and to just be there for them when they needed someone to talk to. After a year, I decided that I wanted to pursue working as a nursing assistant, so I obtained a position with Century Oaks Assisted Living Center in Oshkosh. Yes, it was a long commute from Waupun everyday, but I absolutely loved it. I started when the second building opened, so not only was I a new cna but I was working in an environment that was entirely brand new and we all grew together. We had an amazing team of people and it never felt like going to work. We just became like family. In 2014, the company was bought out by Capital Senior Living and I stayed working for about a year and then decided it was time to take the next step. So I applied to Clearview because it was closer to home and I now have a more consistent routine for my son. I plan to stay working for Clearview fulltime, but I am looking to take on a possible part time, temporary position or even be on call certain days. Either way, I am definitely looking forward to caring for your loved one!

Me being a caregiver i am able to help others in need of any way they need me. I am loving honest truth worthy responsible and reliable. Something that attracted me to become a caregiver was when i was younger i was diagnosed with vator association and always in and out of hospitals and always taken care of. So now i Want to give back in health care and just be there for others like people were there for me. What i like most about being a caregiver is that i can meet all types of people and bond with them. Just being able to make them happy and them put a smile on my face makes my day. Personal achievements i am proud of is still being here today with everything i had to deal with as a kid with a syndrome and being proud of who i am today by loving others and helping in all ways. What makes me a great caregiver is my attentiveness and positivity. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help those who truly needed it. In high school, I explored the nursing program and realized CBRF and older care is where my heart belonged, as well as early year disability (down syndrome, etc.)
