I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

I am a very outgoing person and I love to help others. I love being a caregiver because it is such a rewarding job for me, I have experience working in nursing homes and working one on one with patients.

Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. What inspired me to start caregiving was my great grandmother. She was a caregiver and I admired the way she would go above and beyond to help people reach their full protentional. My favorite part about caring for people is getting to know each other, learning each others common interests, gaining wisdom from the person and seeing the persons progress! Hello! My name is Amanda I am a 30 year old pursuing my bachelors degree. I am a very caring and hard working individual. My grandfather passed away from dementia a few years ago, I took care of him for 3 years during the duration. Feeding, bathing, changing, medicating. I enjoy being able to be personal. The 1:1 with a person to make an impact on their life. I like the in-home setting but better than a corporate location. I have come a long way, traveled the country and now it's time to settle down. I am understanding and compassionate I enjoy listening to people and the stories they like to share. I enjoy gardening, walking, playing cribbage, cards or doing puzzles. I enjoy helping other with chores they are unable to do. I have had family members with different medical and memory issues, so I think I was drawn to understand the needs of families dealing with similar situations.
