Satisfaction of helping someone stay in their home Being able to keep my wife at home until 2 days before she passed away in April of 2023.

Hi I am 20 years old and I am very interested in being a caregiver I believe that my kindness and the fact that I'm a hard worker will help me be a great caregiver. The fact that I am helping people and knowing that I am giving my all makes me wanna be a caregiver. spending time with the residents is only the best part getting to know them seeing the joy you bring in there lives makes you want to continue to work with them. I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. Taking care of a family member is how I began my journey as a caregiver. I know after taking care of my mother in her home how hard it is to find good help. I am semi-retired...I want to help with a family/families that are trying to keep mom or dad out of the nursing home or just need temporary help for recovery. I prefer 2nd or 3rd shift hours, but may consider otherwise.

I decided to follow a career in the health field when I helped take care of my grandmother when she was in a nursing home for rehabilitation after a car accident. My older sister was always my idol. She became a nurse and I always admired her with her job and all that she does for other people who are in need. I decided to pursue in the same field. I enjoy helping others. I am a very giving and compassionate person. I take my job seriously, and don't expect anything in return. My reward is seeing smiling faces of those I help and knowing that they are completely appreciative of everything I do because I am not obligated to do so. I am proud of starting school to continue my education. I had financial issues and had to take a break, but I am determined to finish and get my RN. A little something about myself, I live on my own with my boyfriend and his 3 year old son. I also have a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family and my boyfriend's family. I am looking to add on to my small family, but the jobs I have had have not allowed me to be financially stable just yet. I am looking to get paid decently for all the work that I do as a CNA. CNAs don't always get competitive pay. Thank you for your time.

I am a very compassionate LPN. I have years of experience caring for the elderly in FL as well as in WI. I believe that I am using the gifts that God has given me to help others and to bring joy into peoples lives by being kind. My greatest achievement has been helping my mother care for my father who was in hospice in MA.

I'm very outgoing loving caregiver, I love elderly and children. I am a huge animal lover and I love to build relationships with my clients and treating them as my family. My attraction to becoming a caregiver began when my Opa was diagnosed with Alzheimer and dementia, I took care of him and grew love for the field and became very attached to everyone that I took care of. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is starting school and working my way up to starting my own assisted living and home care business.

I think what makes me a good care giver is that I try my best to give the best care I can to the person or persons I care for what attracts me to this is just that I can make a difference in someone else's life doing some small things for them what I like about being a care giver is that I can make the person I care for feel comfortable and not stressed about how they will be able to do things for them selves the greatest achievement that I have made is that my two oldest daughters grew up to be caregivers too and they are both wonderful at their jobs and I'm proud of both of them.
