I have been a certified nursing assistant since 1993. I have worked in nursing homes, home health and hospice. I currently work as a caretaker for a couple in Sylacauga. I feel that I am very compassionate about my work. I love my patients and families. I do tend to get attached some because I genuinely care about my patients and their well being. I love being able to help people. I honestly didn't know what I was getting into when I was 20 years old but after over 20 years I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have always been told that I was in the right field of work. I have always had great reviews and compliments from my patients and their families.

Hello! My name is Alicia and I have been a CNA for about 5 years. I wanted to be a CNA after caring for my great grandparents before they passed away. Ive always enjoyed being around the older generation in my family since I was a little girl. I always loved hearing stories that my grandparents would tell me and had an interest at a very young age to helping others, especially my elders. This is why i chose this profession. I am working towards my nursing degree and have two more years of school until I will be an RN. I have really enjoyed the people Ive met over the years while being in this field. Nursing is definitely my passion and I strive to do the best that I can for others.I just recently moved here to Florida and I am really enjoying it so far. My fiance and I love to be at the beach when we can and also taking walks out to see the sunset.

Nurse for over 34 years mostly home care and Hospice care. I have retired from Professional nursing due to some health issues. I especially love working with elderly. I would like providing transportation services to appointments, hair, Doctor visits and any pet services that are needed. Do not mind doing light housekeeping and staging homes for the holidays. Believe in open communication with families. I'm am a great patient advocate. I am very respectful and dependable. Can do wound care, G tube feedings, oxygen and nebulizer treatments. Set up medications as needed.

I have been working with the elderly (at the hospital and homecare -caregiver) since 2004. I received my CNA/CPR licenses in the year of 2006 I worked in the hospital and with hospice and moved onto fulltime elderly caregiver. I love working with the elderly providing loving care each day. I can provide references upon contact with present and past families. I assist clients that are still able to get around to church activities, hair appointments, doctor appointments , take them to pay bills and shopping. I assist with cooking meals in there home or getting take out food upon family request. I have bingo games for in home activities, and study the bible with the clients. I am caring, compassionate, and believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. I became a caregiver because I saw how my great grandmother was treated upon being placed in a nursing home when I was only 14yrs old. I didn't like hearing her say that no one cared. I would spend my spare time at the nursing home visiting her and soon became the go to hairstylists for several of the residents. It was something that stuck with into my adult years. When my children started school, I became a CNA, I stumbled upon the greatest job I could ever have when I was hired as an Hospice Nursing Assistant. I believe it takes a certain type of person to do such a hard but very much needed job in this world. I am proud to say that I am just that person.

I became a CNA because I love caring for people...I have cared for patients for the past 18 years with plenty of references! I am great art my job because even after all these years I know the value in casing for people...going above and beyond...I love the spiritual influence it gives me... I believe that good will judge me for the way I treat my patients so I do everything in my power to know in my heart I did right by them! I have worked in almost every aspect of this field with hospice probably being my most favored position and long term care being my most experience. I have worked in many aspects of the healthcare field not just as a cna. I have 2 children, recently moved from out of state. I have my Illinois license and Missouri. I am a hard worker, I go above and beyond for my patient!
