My understanding of each client condition. My ability to communicate effectively with client. My patience, thoughtfulness, and a cheerful disposition. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical experience. My great sense of humor. Professional attitude and great demeanor. I had a friend who's mother was in a nursing home with dementia and her mother wondered out of the nursing home and was almost hit by a car. Since then, I developed this great part of caring for the elderly and naturally, I'm a loving and caring person. Just being able to see my client smile all day and to lighten their day up. Makes me joyful. I was able to get a client who was a diabetic, hypertensive, wounds, etc. Who was on serveral medications for various condition. Cut back on most of the medications and the doctors where amaz. Just pleases my heart. Most of all my dependebility.

I believe that in order to be a caregiver/cna you have to love and enjoy to help others. I am a very caring person, I treat my clients like family. I wanted to be an RN so I decided to start with the basic, caregiving and cna. I love the feeling of going home knowing I was able to help someone. One of the things that I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I am helping, challenge to learn something new and it also gives me life lessons. I am most proud of always giving my best regarding the situation, I feel satisfied with the way I treated my clients from the beginning to end. They had become family and their families have become friends of mine to the point that we still keep in touch.

I am caring and passionate about caregiving because I view my clients as family. I love the energy they give off and I feel there is so much I can learn from them. I think what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to have an impact on these individuals lives and really seeing how much my presence can help them get through their days.
