I believe I am a good caregiver because I have been on both side of the experience. I started care giving when I was 19 for my great grandmother who was on hospice and getting in home care. I was young but able to understand the significance in knowing the difference between " quality of life " vs " quantity of life " . And I also saw the great importance of being able to trust your loved one in the care of a stranger. Building a repor with your client is key to a successful experience for both sides!

What are your personality traits or expertise that helps me to be a great caregiver is just be me and also be very respectful and treat my clients how I want them to treat me. I became ah caregiver because I fallow on too my mom steps she was ah good CNA nurse and because for my first child that got sick and that gave me to become ah caregiver to care for people.

I am a great caregiver because I am quite flexible & punctual who has worked mornings, afternoons, nights & weekends with a good attendance record. Timeliness is important to me. I am most experienced at companion/friendship, medication reminders, physical therapy, housekeeping & running errands. I enjoy meeting people & getting to know their stories. I prefer a 2 way relationship with clients because I believe it's important for them to know who I am as well, since I will be in your home.

I believe that caring and giving come natural for me, its always been my first two instincts, which make me a good happy fun and loving caregiver. I became a caregiver twenty four years ago. My grandma was a diabetic, she taught my sister and I how to care for her as well as others, she also educated us, I loved it. Still to this day I enjoy helping those who cannot help themselves.
