A Better Way In Home Care

With 20 years of experience working in a private nursing environment; I enjoy putting a smile on my clients face as well as being down to earth, compassionate, and reliable about the quality of care I provide. I assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, medication reminder, light cooking, housekeeping and any daily needs. I have reliable transportation to get clients to and from their doctor's visits and personal outings. Previous experience with elderly clients: Dementia/Alzheimer,bedridden, stroke, diabetic, tracheotomy/ventilation care, hospice and chronicle illness; I am able to do any job. My certification include: CNA/CHHA/RNA Licenses, also BLS

What makes me a great caregiver is my expertise and training. Since I was fifteen years old I took care of my ill mother until she pass away. I developed a passion caring for the elderly and people in need of services. It put a smile on my face and in my heart when patients smile, even when they are not in their best of health. It gives me comfort to know that I'm doing my best to please my patients in every way. I always ask my patients what's their comfort and never push them more than they can, but enough to encourage them. Patients and family always saying to me how wonderful and loving I am and very please with my services. That makes me feel great and a great caregiver.

My 15+ years experienced includes assisting seniors in achieving s higher quality of life and sense of well being. I have maintained a clean safe and organized home, prepared meals according to dietary restrictions, grocery shopping , pet care and transportation to appointments. I've have utilized the oxygen machine, hoyer lift, wheelchairs, hospital beds, gait belt, glucose test, vital signs and insulin injections. I have also assisted with incontinence care, showed, personal hygiene, andhelp maintained bedridden clients level of comfort. I have felt very blessed that my clients have welcomed me into their homes for utilization of my passion in assisting seniors in overcoming challenges while enjoying a better quality of life

Ive been a caregiver for 10 years. I love helping people. It began with my grandmother getting sick and I never wanted her to be alone so I was there with her, to her last breath. I am extremely proud of myself that ive been doing this for so long. Its a satisfying job to have. To know that you are helping someone achieve their everyday task is rewarding. Everybody needs somebody. Ive came across all kinds of clients in my ten years of work. From Parkinson's to paraplegic clients. Both young and old. And in each situation I have grown and learned from it. Im excieted to meet new people, new challenges and give a hand where it is needed.

Things that make me a great caregiver would be that I have a lot of patience. Those who provide home care to others need to be patient. I understand that there may be changes in plans, things may not go as quickly as planned, and there may be a little hesitation at times on the part of the person receiving care. Compassion is also something I've always had, I've always put myself in someone else shoes and look at things from different perspectives which helps me have a understanding of what the person is going through. Attentiveness is important . By being attentive, I will notice when there are emotional or physical changes in the person I am caring for. I am very dependable, which is needed on a daily basis and very imperative. Building a personal relationship with the person I am caring for is very is very significant and also falls under TRUST. Caregivers are often in a position that will allow them to have access to the belongings of the person they are caring for. It is crucial that the caregiver be someone who is trustworthy and will not breach that trust by taking advantage of the person her or she is caring for. Things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making new friends, building new bonds and making someones life happier. A personal achievement I am proud of would be getting my associates in Psychology.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others and I had to experience a close relative go through a difficult time and I was there to help. I enjoyed helping my relative and being their for them. I gives me great pleasure in knowing that the family and client are at ease an not so much under pressure. My personal achievement would have to be graduating as a medical assistant and on the path to what I enjoying doing. I am a hard worker quick ,learner and loving person. On free time I enjoy spending as much time with family that is possible.

I am a caring loving kind person. I enjoy taking care of people that needs care. I am energetic, funny love to make you feel comfortable. I enjoy taking walks with my patients, take them recreational activities when needed, take to their appointments. I am a proud person because I know wherever I go my patients love me for who I am . I will make their day a happy one even when they are feeling sad I will enlighten up their day. That's my gift. Bless!
