I'm a caregiver that appreciates how important my job is to the people I care for. I am patient , honest, and helpful. Peace of mind is acquired because I can be trusted with sensitive information. Ive been called a "jack of all trades" for my skillset within the home. If I don't have the answer I will find it. Most important to me is that those in my charge are treated with respect, dignity and love.

I'm a fun, caring, outgoing person that gets along with people from all walks of life. I like to laugh and have a very good sense of humor and I care about those that are in positions that keep them from being able to care for themselves because I believe everyone needs someone to help care for them at some point in their lives and there are many people out there that aren't fortunate enough to have anyone there for them. I get along well with the elderly especially, because I believe I am an old soul at heart, and I love listening to their life experiences and stories of what life has been like for them. I can pretty much do any tasks needed of me and if I don't know how to do something Im always willing to learn new things, and catch in pretty quick. Helping care for people isn't just a job for me it's what makes me feel like I have a purpose and teaches me me things all the time. I'm punctual,reliable, and personable. I just love working with people in general and I love making people smile and feel more comfortable and at ease especially if they have a hindering disability or don't have a lot of time left. I'm just am all around great addition to have when relief from stress, worry and exhaustion has become a burden and consumes to much of a person's life and everyday routine. I'm here to help and would love to help anyone who needs it.

I have over 6 years experience in caring for the elderly as well as caring for Hospice patients. I am registered with the State and have done the live scan and TB test, in accordance to the new" Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act" I love animals, enjoy gardening and trying out a new recipe or two. I do drive but prefer to limit driving to daytime because of my sight. I have a caregiver personality by nature and find caring for others very rewarding. I became a caregiver to help my mother take care of my grandmother starting when I was in Jr. High School. My grandmother was always calling my name so naturally I went. My mom would say thank you. One day she bought me a small gift. I asked her what it was for. She said you always help without be asked or saying a thing. I told her it was something I enjoyed doing and no one had to asked me I was brought up knowing it was the right thing to do. My grandmother was in a wheelchair. When my mom became ill I took care of her. After she passed away I was left with an empty feeling . I thought it was because she was gone and yes, that was part of it. But it took me about a year to realize I was feeling this way because I missed taking care of someone. I had found my calling. I really enjoying helping people!! I

I began my interest in caregiving with my grandfather. He quickly progressed with Dementia and I wanted to be around him til the end of his time. I fell in love with helping and caring for him and carried on after he passed and have been doing this for 10 years. I enjoy knowing that I am someone people call when they or someone they love need some TLC. I truly love my job and the people I come into contact with while doing it. I am bubbly, kind, patient, pay attention to detail and like to give whatever I am attempting 100 percent. My hourly rate is negotiable and I am available any shift.

I am a caring and compassionate person. I have a daughter that has undergone two heart transplants the first at the age of six months. Because of my daughter i have post operative experience. She has had a total of four open heart surgeries. She is now 23 and doing great. Also I have taken care of my mother in-law for two years assisting with bathing, meals, medication management, breathing treatments and physical therapy. Currently I have been working with elderly that have various stages of Alzheimer's/dementia and other forms of memory loss. Also i have experience with the Hoyer lift, slide board and slip sheet for transferring and expereinced with feeding tube and kangaroo pump. I am current with my TB and drug tests. I became a Caregiver to make a difference in the every day lives. I love caring for other and nursing them back to health, or assisting in making their everyday lives a little easier. I have really loved being a caregiver! The clients that I have cared for have taught me so many wonderful things like how to grow orchids, cooking recipes from the past, and how to face struggles. As I cared for people I learned the joy of coming alongside others and helping them to see the good and possibility even in their present situation. I have been a stay home Mom who has brought her kids to serve others for ten years in a very low income housing project. We built a library that the kids in the projects ran themselves. We brought fellowship meals for the community, held basketball tournaments and did Bible Studies with the children. There were so many blessings that our family received as we served others. I have great respect and compassion for the elderly. I am caring, patient, reliable and empathetic individual. I am a mature lady who is extremely reliable. have always enjoyed interacting with seniors. After caring for my parents for several years, I always felt a tugging on my heart to perform caregiving for a living. I enjoy the senior's stories and tales from when they were younger and their viewpoints on today's issues. I volunteered for Honor Flight hi Chicago and worked with several WWII veterans in order for them to go on the trip of a lifetime to Washington DC. These trips were meant to recognize and thank them for their service. I had the honor of escorting a WWII vet on his trip. This was a rare privilege for a volunteer. It was one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done.

Hello I am a happy and outgoing person. I want to help people that aren't as fortunate as I have been. I love being around people this is something I would be good at. Care giving would be a new adventure in my life. I like a challenge plus I feel that there are many people that need someone to care and brighten their life for them. I am willing to run errands , do their shopping, doctors appointments, do there meds, cook and do light housekeeping. I set my goals in life when I was in high school. I fulfilled those goals on my own plus many more experiences. Now I would like to help people that need love and care. I recently became a caregiver after many years at an office job that I wasn't truly passionate about and am loving working in this field with all of the people I get to meet and lives I get to be a part of. I am a recent college grad from Cal State Northridge with a degree in Creative Writing and am very sociable. I love companion care, and am told I am an excellent cook and housekeeper!
