I have been a CNA for 20 years. I enjoy helping and working with our Seniors because they have taught me a lot over the years. I have experience working in homes, nursing homes, hospitals and I also have 5 years experience working for Hospice. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid. I am patience, dependable, neat and clean. I love to cook also. I am a non smoker, non drinker, I have a good driving record and I have a excellent background. I have experience working with Alzheimer's, Dementia, stroke, cancer patients, brain injuries, Parkinson, diabetes, ALS, patients with feeding tubes, Foley Catheters,, Tracheas, and vents. I am a compassionate caring person who loves taking care of senior's. I started out as a Caregiver 4 years ago. I realized I wanted to be able to help my clients more so I went for more training to get my PCA certificate. I was 16 years old when I volunteered to work in a nursing home that's when I knew I wanted to help and be around seniors. I learned a lot about life from them. My grandmother had Alzheimer's. I learned a lot about Alzheimer's. and now I can apply my skills I have learned during the time my grandmother lived with us. I enjoy my job and love working with seniors. I have worked with clients who have dementia, Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis.

I have over 15 years of child care experience and 6 years experience as a certified nurse aid/ geriatric and two years as a home health aide. I get to know the individual/client and become familiar with their likes and dislikes. I treat my clients with respect and provide support along side their families.

My mother, aunt and cousin are nurses and I would watch how great they were with their patients, so I went and got my personal care aide certification. I absolutely love helping others so while doing that job I also took care of my 91 year old grandmother. Being a personal care aide just wasn't enough for me so I went back for my CNA license so I could help a wider range of patients. I'm going back to school for my RN license because I enjoy helping others so much. I'm very reliable, caring, considerate and responsible.

What makes me a wonderful caregiver is that I'm very passionate about what I do , I enjoy every moment of it . I genuinely love my job and every aspect of it , I'm a very honest dependable and hardworking women to be my age . I am an experienced hha/ are giver for over 6 years now. I took care of my grandmother whom is bed bound and requires a lot if care due to health issues. After taking care of her for 2 years I was inspired to get certified. I take pride in my job. I love helping others, putting a smile on others face daily and being a companion to the elderly.
