I am a very compassionate caregiver and I try my best to fulfill the needs of my patients. My journey began when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer I would help take care of her and that's what made me want to be a part of the healthcare field . I never would have imagined myself in the position I am today . There were many obstacles I had to face while going to school but I was able to overcome them and finish . I hope to continue and help people in any way that I can.

I enjoy peoples company, I like to make peoples day. To have great conversation and make sure that the patient is taken care of and able to feel good about themselves- caregiving takes time and compassion, a lot of people don't have time or patience. Being taken care of could also bring someone down and make them feel like they are losing themselves, so I try to help and make sure and try to reassure that's the person keeps their self of stem and confidence.

I take of patient at a long term facility,and short term basic, a lot of patient ask me if i can take care of them when they go home,when I get a thank you card from the patient and family ,I offer respect,care and trust.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people with what ever it may be that they need. In the past two years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I've gained experience that allowed me to get accepted into nursing school.

I'm a great caregiver, because i was raised by my grandmother. when she became to weak to care for herself I took her into my home and cared for her. i took care of my grand mother for over 10yr before she pass away.I love helping the eiderly.

I am a very outgoing lady. I have been working in a hospital and caregiving for over a year. I have really enjoyed it because I love to meet different people. I love the difference I make by helping in whatever way I can. I hope to one day be in nursing school so I can do even more.

I have 6 years of experience as a caregiver and CNA taking care of patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Huntington's diseases in their homes and in a skilled nursing facility. I also have 1 year of experience as a Dialysis Technician. I love working as a caregiver/CNA because I have a heart for this field and my long term goal is to become a Registered Nurse. I believe that being an altruistic person is the best tool to become a great caregiver and I am most proud whenever I see that my patients are satisfied with the care that I have provided.
