I became a caregiver in 2005. I was a teacher, got laid off and wanted meaningful employment. I had nursing skills from my country of origin, where I was a RN; so I decided to try care giving which I find rewarding, I enjoying making a difference in someone's life who has loss their ability to do things for themselves and to better cope with whatever situation they are in. I also have experience with hospice care. I have experience with Alzheimer and Dementia care . Iam also on the IHHS nursing registry. Has 10 years of international nursing experience as staff and charge nurse and four years of hospice case management. Passionate about causes for Alzheimers and hospice care. Provided in-home care for Alzheimer's patient from 2009 to 2013 until his passing. Total assistance, doctors appointments, medicine distribution and sorting, G- tube and Suprapubic catheter care among many other tasks.

I am a retired Nurse with a penchant and passion to care for others. I enjoy making a difference in people's lives and lead my life with compassion and honor. I consider caring for others my vocation and life's work. I look forward to working with your loved one.

I became a caregiver/cna because I was once bed bound and couldn't do anything for myself, I was provided the worst care. So I got into the medical to offer the best care and love I can give..I love making someone day everyday. I have a Good personality, Great sense of humor and full of joy. I'm 32 years Old I have been in the medical field for 14 years and I love it.

I used to be a teacher and I enjoy working with people. I am currently a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide in California and am almost done with Vocational Nursing program. I did not have a chance to care for my mother since she died when I was young and it gives me great satisfaction whenever I have a chance to make a difference in other peoples life. I am a person who takes pride and ownership of whatever I do. I willingly go beyond my duty if My action will prevent a potential accident or injury. One of my personal experience is when I saw this old man as I step out from YMCA in Glendale. He was was rocking himself trying to stand up using his wheeled walker. I helped him up but noticed that he was wobbly. I had him seated on the walker and pushed him to the bus stop in Brand where we waited for the employees from the facility where he lives. Given a chance, I intend to make a positive impact on my client well being. I am trustworthy and does not need to be told of what to do.

Greetings, I chose to become a caregiver because caring is something that comes very natural for me, and I love helping others. I love making a difference in others lives, that is what I like most about being a caregiver. I personally am proud of my achievement of becoming a CNA/CHHA. With those skills I work all types of patients; including Hospice patients. Special attention patience and care come with that position. I currently take care for my grandmother also while working per diem in hospice care. I am a very loving and dedicated person that strives for perfection in all areas of life. One last thing about me I may be small but I am very strong, and always ready for a challenge.
