Hi there, my name is Maria and I'm currently going to school to become a registered nurse. It is always been my passion to help others in need. I'm a very caring, trustworthy and loving person with a calming personality. Which allows me to not only adjust to new situations with patients but be able to provide the care any family member would like to have. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to provide any type of assistance to someone who needs it. To be able to make someone's day routine a lot easier and to get that feeling of joy for helping other. A personal achievement that I am proud of is, the 2 Associated degrees I just acquired while completing my pre requirements for nursing school. I am very passionate about nursing so any accomplishment that brings me closer to my goal is a blessing.

I became a caregiver because I love to make a difference in people's lives. I love to put a smile on everyone face. Whether I'm having a bad day or not I will never show it. I'm a great team player. I go above and beyond. I always keep in touch with my clients. I don't do it for the money, I do is because I care. I work at Yale New haven hospital. it's going on 12 years. Before yale I did home care. My personal achievement that I am proud of is knowing that I can help sick people. I can be that shoulder to lean on when no one is there. When the elderly feel like no one cares or have time anymore.. I will never stop doing what I do because it's something I enjoy. I am currently working part time in the hospital. Currently looking for more work. One on one care. Thanks

I became a caregiver because I enjoy providing care for people and ensuring that they are ok. I enjoy making people feel comfortable and helping out anytime I can with chores or anything that they need help with Every patient that I have come in counter with has always told me I need to go to nursing school and I would be a wonderful nurse I am a hard worker and enjoy what I do. I am very easy to talk to and willing to make sure the client/patient's needs are met, I take pride in knowing that my patients are well taken care of.

I HAD WITNESS AN EXPERIENCE WITH AN ELDERLY PERSON IN MY EARLIER IN MY YEARS SO I DECIDED FROM THAT POINT ON I WANTED TO BECOME AN CAREGIVER, BEING IN THIS FIELD YOU MEET DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEOPLE ,U HEAR DIFFERENT STORIES THAT THEY TELL U COME IN CONTACT WITH SOME U GET ATTACH TO ITS LIKE ANOTHER FAMILY YOU HAVE BUT ITS AN JOB THAT'S WHY I LIKE BEING A CAREGIVER, THE ACHIEVEMENT I AM PROUD OF IS GOING BACK TO SCHOOL TO ACCOMPLISH MY C.N.A LICENCES TO STAY IN THE FIELD I MOST KNOW ABOUT SINCE I STARTED, BEING THE PERSON THAT I AM AND ALSO THE PERSON I WANT TO BE IN A COUPLE OF YEARS FROM NOW IS OWNING MY OWN HOMECARE AGENCY ONE DAY SOMETHING FOR THE FUTURE OF MY FAMILY.

It has always been natural for me to take care of people, since I was a little girl. So it was no surprise when I decided to be a caregiver 13 years ago. It gives me great joy to help individuals as well as the family with those that need extra help to make it through the day. I'm caring, hard working, and passionate about what I do. I treat everyone how I would want my family member to be treated.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I have always love caring for people I was young I use to go to the elderly community homes just to talk to them and sit with them.When I became a cna,and start doing clinicals in the different assistance living homes I reallyvfell in love helping people.
