Senior Home Care

I am a 47year old female , with 2 children An 20year old daughter & 24 year old son , I've been a HHA for 20+ years , with experience In many fields , I really enjoy the work I do & I have been very blessed to have worked With some remarkable people in my career In my personal time I enjoy my animals , I Have horses & dogs . I've lived in Brevard county for 34 years , I Currently live in Malabar , I have lived in my Home for 19 years , this is where I raised My family , I current work a split shift with a 91 & 94 year old married couple, 6am-8am & 5pm - 7pm , hours are flexible .

I am an R.N. with over 30 years of experience. That experience includes: Critical Care and Trauma, Case management, Physical Rehabilitation and home care. I have been certified in Critical care, case management and rehabilitation. I enjoy working with people and helping meet their heal-care goals.

I be came a Care giver long time ago when I were in High School; I learn how to be caring to other in time of my help and there needs. I had to take care of my Aunt and go to school and at that time she were my Heart for me to care for her so there for I am a very good hearted person who very enjoy help other in there time of need. That's why I became a loving care giver to day. I like being a care giver those who needs my assistant My achievement that I am proud of I had help many people in my time and there family to really understand that life is helping one other in time of needs l about my self I am a very caring person who have the time and the loving care for others I have been working in home care over 8 years and with clients with Alzheimer and Dementia, Hospice until last day and stroke patients and to assist patients in transfer from chair to standing positions and ambulation assistance and non Medical service and communicating with seniors and assist in socialization and Independence, range of motion and physical therapy and activities, strength and balance and mobility and to recognizing illnesses and depression and most of all safety etc.

I love taking care of the elderly....a caregiver is a person that have love and patience and that's who i am...I loved my parents very much and before they leave this world i always said if they should need a caregiver i want them to get the best care...so as a caregiver i give the best to someone else's parents...i was bless with the opportunity to be my dads caregiver....it was sad in the end but I'm glad i was there as to use my skills as a caregiver and as a daughter who love and care about him.A job can be hard...but when you love what you do that's what makes it easy...I'm very hard worker and i love taking care of the elderly.
