As an 8 year old kid, i felt that desire to care for my grandparents when they needed help. As a young adult, I took care of some members of the family who were not well. Then, over 10 years ago to present, i still have the same desire to care as an on call volunteer to a hospice residents at a facility in pacifica.

I have a history of 30 years as a caregiver. I started as a Home Health Aide in Hospice with 2 companies for 7 years. American Hospice and Central Hospice, due to a back injury I left the company and started private duty from the recommendation of one of my Hospice nurses. A month after starting with Hospice that I hadn't ever heard of at the time, I felt I had found my calling in life. What makes me a great caregiver? I love people and just knowing am able to give back to my elders is amazing.
