My name is cathetrine Desir I m a nursing assistant whith 12 years experience

I'm determine & take the job of being a caregiver seriously I always had a passion for taking care others but my eyes & heart didn't really set in & open up fully until I started caring for my mother who I didn't wanna admit into a nursing home are hospice I took care my mother open until she passed away October 23,2014.

My Grandfather was sick when I was teenager,so I started taking care of him while my grandmother went to work. I decided then I wAntes to be a Nurse I'm currently in school for nursing .

The work of a caregiver - helping the disabled live a full life brings much self satisfaction and you become their best friend. My first job as a caregiver was in college working for 4 quadriplegics on a live-in basis. My personal achievement was teaching a downs syndrome guy learn to swim. I am bright, compassionate, hardworking, punctual and experienced with several types of disability

1.) I became a caregiver because I am very passionate about of the elderly population. While I was in college, I did my studies in Gerontology, which is the study of aging. There's so much experiences and stories that they have, I am always intrigued to here about them and apply it to my everyday life. Also, I just want to be everything they want: someone to listen to them, someone to assist them, someone to give them a smile and encourage them that everything will be okay. 2.) I am just like being that someone that brighten up their day. Everyone has days that they feel like their world is crashing in, but to have someone to be there and talk to them through it all. 3.) My personal achievement that I am proud of is that most of the resident, where I use to work, remembers my name, they can sense my presence, and in my absent, they constantly ask my coworkers for me. 4.) My name is Nastassia Rowe. I am very dedicated in everything I do. I am very optimistic. I am a college graduate who takes pride in everything she does.

I love taking of people and my mother is RN. I love to talk to the different residents. That I am a cna and I am in school to become a RN. I am the mother of five and I am the grandmother of three . I love what I do .

I became a Caregiver in 2000 and a CMA in 2006. I have attended extended curriculum classes such as Geriatrics. I love the Elderly because they appreciate me and the things I do for them. I am proud to go out of my way to help them a little extra along the way. I also have 2 kids that like to help out.

Growing up I really didn't think much of what I wanted to do with my life. Well that all changed after my neighbor who was an older guy asked If I would help me with light house duties and errors to earn a little extra money. I feel in love with what I was doing and decided that I want to go for my CNA. Now 4 years later, I am still a CNA and absolutely love my job as well as everything that comes with it! I am married to a wonderful husband and a mother of 3 children. I am very loving caring and out going. I do my best to cheer my residents up when they are sad as well as try to get a good laugh in to keep me from going completely insane. I love spending one on one time being able to talk and get an understanding of everything my residents have been through. I get really attached with my residents and develop a family like relationship. I am very sure you will be very happy and content with me and the care I provide. As well as he/she will be very happy that I am someone that has a heart of pure care.

I really enjoy taking care of others, as well as I'm very good at it. I love the relationship i get to build with my resident as i take care of them. I am personally very proud of myself for accepting and moving forward when i have to deal with my residents death. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 2 yrs. I worked in a Nursing home for a year, i worked with anyone from Rehab to fully disabled individuals. I also worked for a Sitting Service where i also took care of individuals for 8 months.
