I'am a great caregiver because I connect well with people and meet their expectations and well-being needs in order for them to function in today's society. I became a caregiver because I'am compassionate about people and I like helping people. As a caregiver, I like seeing people needs met correctly and in return seeing the contentment and peace that comes on their face afterwards. A personal achievement I'am proud of is working with children, adults, and elderly people and never ran into legal problems or situations which testifies I work well with all populations. I have 5 or more years of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Dependency Case Manager working with several ages and cultures.

I became a caregiver because I love people and love to help. At the end of every day I feel so good knowing I have made a difference in the life of my client and my clients family. I feel best knowing that years after I have taken care of someone their family members still call me, remember me, recommend me to friends in need. I have a clean background, great training and references.

I have worked as a Home Health Aid for almost 3 years and have loved every minute of it. From the beginning I felt like this was my calling and have taken great pride in providing the highest quality care to every patient I have had. I know that being a caregiver is what I am meant to do and feel fortunate and blessed to have found a passion that so many people go their whole lives in search of. I have enjoyed finding ways to bring the most comfort to my patients from taking them on walks around their neighborhood, to providing music therapy in their homes and playing the patients most favorite music. I feel that families with a sick member desperately need time for themselves as caregivers, and I love providing that much needed respite care.

My experience in geriatric social work has shown me how difficult it is to rely on professional home health services. I also understand the importance of a flexible schedule. I want to make a difference and connect with those in need of weekend or evening support. I continue to serve the senior community full time during the week as part of my employee responsibilities. I am very proud to be completing my Master's degree in Social Work with the intent to continue to serve the medical needs of the senior population in Florida.
