I'm a wife and mother of three wonderful young men, I've been in the health field for over 23 years, my education started out as a CNA, I'm also a certified Medical Assistant, Billing and Coding specialist and also a Certified Phlebotomist. My area of specialties are helping others and being able to lend a hand to those who are in need of assistance in their daily lives. A jack of all trades caring for the elderly is one of the most rewarding.

I currently work for a prominent hospital, which I've been with for over ten years. I started out working in home health. What I like about being a caregiver is the one on one care you are able to give to your patient. One personal achievement I'm proud of is raising 3 beautiful children, whom all went to college and is doing well in their careers. I've worked in healthcare for about twenty years, I'm married to a wonderful man, whom I've been with for over thirty years. I love to decorate, spend time with my grandkids, and going to the movies.

What makes me an ideal candidate as a caregiver is my passion for health and the fulfillment of life. As a caregiver, it brings many rewards and growth to the development of care for the patient and to their family. Attentiveness to detail, no-nonsense, trustworthy, having patience and compassion is the building block for a stronger unit.

I have a nurturing desire to help those in need. I understand that a person can feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify the fears create a sense of calm and trust. That I'm able to be a voice of encouragement to help provide individualized and appropriate care, I'm proud of returning back to school to obtain my registered nurse RN license.

I'm a care giver because this is my way of life to help others who cant help them selves. I enjoy the fulfillment of living comfortable regardless of the situation. Taking care of a sick relative can be physically and mentally draining. I had a very sick mother since I was young, so I understand what you're coping with. I have years of experience of home care , hospital, assistant living and nursing homes. I am extremely compassionate caregiver. I empathize and sympathize from various perspectives. I am a family person, I a good communications skills, good with old people and people in medical needs. I love helping people in need this why I decided to go in the health to be an advocate for other medically. I had my CNA lease in 2015 and thought to myself that I can do more and enroll in the LPN program and I am going to go further because I want to specialize in Alzheimer care.

I am a certified Nursing assistant, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomy Technician and EKG Technician, My extensive skill set has enabled to work in different settings including hospice, home health and various departments in the hospital. this has given me the opportunity to work with patients and clients with different illnesses and conditions. Despite the expertise, my first passion is home health because am able to connect with my clients on a deeper level and that allows me to provide consistent care. Having lost both my parents and only brother to situations that could have been prevented, a deep desire to provide care was seeded. I love what I do because it allows me to see right away the changes in comfort levels for my client. Working with clients from different backgrounds and has been the most exciting part of my job.

I've been in the medical field since 2006. My background is taking care of Dementia/ Alzheimer's clients. I also have thirteen years geriatric care experience. I love taking care of others and believe it's my calling.
