From my experiences in life, I have had the privilege to take care of many members of my family. The enjoyment and peace I felt while taking care of my family members encouraged me to go into care taking. My first job as a caretaker was at a day care where I worked for about three great years from 2009 to 20011. I have not had a chance to go back into that career field until now. At this time, I am interested in going back into care giving to have a chance to share that experience with adults.

I am a family-oriented man who truly values helping others. Highly empathetic, understanding and patient. Caregiving allows me to fulfill the desire to assist others regularly. I feel like I am actually contributing and making things better, in a small way, to society by helping those who often seem to be in need.

I became a Caregiver because it's something I love to do; I recieve a pleasure to be able to help those in need. I enjoy when i care for people and in return they are able to express to me how much better I have made their day. I am a very honest and gentle person who cares about the well being of others.

My name is Sage Dixon and I am 20 years old. Growing up, my father was always ill. I am the oldest of three children so I had a lot of responsibility. I had to start driving at 15 so that I can take my dad to and from his doctors appointments. Taking care of him on a daily basis made me want to pursue a career in the medical field. Starting my senior year in high school, I took a certified nursing assistant course and had to be at school everyday from 5 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon then I still had to go work at my part-time job. I was always tired but I never complained because I knew I could do more. My dad's health was and still is so important to me. I enjoy helping him and I know he appreciates me for it. When I graduated from the Certified Nurse Assistant course, he was so proud of me and I decided to take on the nursing path long term. Working as a student and taking care of my dad has taught me a lot through life and I'll forever be grateful.

Hello, My name is Teirra Jones and I became a caregiver because I love working with people and being able to care for and help those who aren't able to care for themselves the way that they should. I started off caring for people at the age of 16 years old when I used to babysit for my aunt while she worked for 2 years and then when I turned 21 years old I applied for a DSP (Direct Support Professional) position at Little City Foundation where I was working with children with developmental disabilities. I absolutely loved everything that there was about working at Little City Foundation. I've learned so much and I've also gained allot of experience from working there.

I became a caregiver because growing up I helped my grandprents and tooc extra precautions to my physically disabled grandmother. I also looked after my 86 year old pastor who was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. So it became very easy for me to do. I love the realtionship and bonding that you have with your patient.

My name is Jasmin Scott. I am 19 years old. I've always known I wanted to be in the medical field. I became a caregiver because I love helping people and I love a fast-paced working environment. What I love most about being a caregiver is that I get to do what I truly love. I love being able to help others and put a smile on their face. My greatest accomplishments are graduating high school and receiving my CNA certification.

One reason that I became a caregiver is because I am a passionate and I love to help and care for the elderly. I can provide excellent care to someone who needs help in your lIfe and be able to uplift a persons spirit if they are feeling down. One thing that I like about being a caregiver is that I make people smile and I can help with that person with difficulties that they may having or questions that they may have to ask me .Also I can be a helping hand and I can be someone there for them to talk to in their time of need. One personal achievement that I finished high school and recieved mey certified nurses assistant classas well as being currently enrolled in college.I am a mother of 4 children I am currently employed I am a student as well as a happy person. I enjoy going on vacations with my children as well as teaching them new things and experiencing life. Being able to be there for someone is my greatest achievement best bar because I can help someone in their time of need it provides support that person. Being a CNA has opened my eyes to a lot of things it has helped me to be a better person.

I love providing care to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces makes me feel I have done right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I love spending time with the elderly and hearing life experiences they have to offer. I love also learning about their wisdom.

I enjoy making sure people get the care they need an deserve. I like to see my clients happy and enjoying life to the fullest of their capabilities. I strive to achieve the best care I can provide and that has been proven by the bond I have developed with my clients. I am caring, detail oriented, dependable and self motivated.

I became a Caregiver because i love helping people that need my help. What i like most about being a Caregiver is the love that you get in return for helping and taking good care of them. A personal achievement im proud of is that i grow up to understand that there is not limit in this world, You can and will learn something new everyday. I'm an Habiliation Technician. I worked at a group home with disable adults called Edwar Group LLC and i worked with Autism children at A Small Miracle where i worked in the consumer home.

I have a real heart for the elderly or anyone that needs care/companionship. I just love helping people, making their lives easier, more comfortable and an all around trusting relationship.

the reason i became i a care giver is because ive taken care of my grandmother for many years and i feel i love to help others in their time of need . im proud of the person ive become from being a care giver ive learned alot from the adults ive taken care of because of what they have already been through just being able to talk to them on a day to day bases shown me alot and opened my eyes to see that you only have one life and you want to do the things in life that make you happy because your never know when its your time . I tinika maymon is a women of god , im a friendly person i get along with everyone no matter the race or age . im very open minded meaning i see every pin point and always sees both sides of the story no matter what it is .

When I was 13 years old I was my mothers Caregiver, she had Cancer and needed my help. There was a nurse that came once a week to see her. She taught me how to change her feeding bag Intraveinously. I was also taught how to give her insulin shots for her diabetes. That in itself was a huge responibility but I did it because she needed me and I wouldn't have it any other way. I decided then that I wanted to take care of people. Becoming a caregiver will allow me to help those in need to live comfortably and happy life. My personal achievement that I am proud of is returning to school to attain my nursing degree. I am a mother of 5 children and want to show my children that no matter what you want in life you can get and or do it. So go for it, also do the best you can because that is the best you can do.

I recently went out & got my CPR/First Aid w/AED because im very passionate about helping the elderly & disabled people in my family I have so many. I love to give the companionship & get it back. Trusting caregivers are very important. I am proud of the fact that I can give that honest companionship & dedication.

I know that I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate, detail, and professional caregiver. I love providing assistant to others that are in need of assistance with recovery from the hospital environment to giving help with the elderly patients that are not able to do certain things for themselves and not need help in their daily living activities. I became a caregiver to provide a service in a way of giving back to society in a positive way, reaching out to others that appreciate getting help. To see a big smile on a client's face, knowing that they are happy and pleased with the services provided. I am proud to say that I have worked with handicapped children for 13 years with several different disabilities. I have years of experience as a home health employee and as a certified nurse assistant in the hospital environment.
