I became a caregiver because of my passion for the job as well as making a living. being a caregiver is a selfless act and it means giving your all to make your clients comfortable and happy. I have a singular aim of seeing myself grow in the health sector and always making my clients feel loved. My clients will say I am loving ,compassionate and dependable.

Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a patient, gentle and caring caregiver who is reliable and dedicated to giving the best possible care to my clients and their families. Helping other's has always been a passion of mine but I knew I wanted to be a caregiver after losing my Grandfather to stage 4 lung cancer. Unfortunately for my family the caregivers assigned to my grandfather's care (via his insurance) were unpleasant and far from professional. I know firsthand how important it is to find someone who is compassionate, professional and trustworthy; I take pride in being that person. The most rewarding part of my job as a caregiver is being an alternative to traditional institutionalized care allowing clients to remain safely in the comfort of their own homes. My services are designed to meet the individual needs of each client while offering the families peace of mind and respite. Personality traits: funny, caring, friendly, reliable, etc I love to help people is what attracted me to become a caregiver. I enjoy most is creating a bond with them, being able to be trusted, become their best friend. Someone they look forward to seeing on a daily basis. Achievement I'm most proud of is being at a young age I'm very independent. Own car own apartment putting myself through school all on my own.

Patience. Those who provide home care to others need to be patient. Being patient means that the person understands that there may be changes in plans, things may not go as quickly as planned, and there may be a little hesitation at times on the part of the person receiving care. Compassion. When someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Attentiveness. It is important when providing home care that the caregiver is attentive to the needs and changes that are taking place. By being attentive, the caregiver, will notice when there are emotional or physical changes in the person he or she is caring for. Dependability. Those who need home care don't usually just need it sporadically. Rather it is on a regular basis, so it is imperative that a caregiver be dependable and show up to provide the care that the person needs and is counting on. Trustworthiness. Caregivers are often in a position that will allow them to have access to the belongings of the person they are caring for. It is crucial that the caregiver be someone who is trustworthy and will not breach that trust by taking advantage of the person her or she is caring for.

I am certified nurse assistant I worked in the field for around 30 years, I have experience working with cerebral palsy kids, I also worked in a Rehabilitation Center short and long term assisting ,Private Duty: assisting clients at theirs Homes. I love working with people I am very patient, reliable, safe, Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) I have good communication skills.

I once visited a nursing home in silver spring,i felt inspired by the work the nursing aides were doing for the residents.I immediately noticed that many people need help and i wanted to be part of the ones giving the needed help,after my training i went to the same nursing home for my clinical rotations and it was great helping the residents with the knowledge and skills gained in training. Interacting with the residents and meeting their needs and realising that with our help they felt better gave me the best feeling ever. I love to see everyone happy and satisfied and that why i chose being a caregiver so that i can put a smile on the face of the less unfortunate. I am a very jovial person,always ready to learn new skills and quite patient.

I am truly delighted to be a caregiver because I show my clients/resident lots of love, tender loving care, and my exemplary trait patience. They are very special to me and I obviously love my job with a heartfelt compassion.

Hi my name is Renee I been working as a license Geriatric Nursing Assistant for 12 years. I have experience in bed side care ,bathing ,dressing ,grooming. Applying and Changing Colstumy bags ! Changing and cleaning Cath. bags. Also range of motion exercises ! Experience with using the Hoyer lift to transfer the patient from there bed to their wheel chair. Most importantly I make sure the patient is safe and comfortable ! : )
