Watching my father survive pancreatic cancer for 18 years, I decided I'd rather be with people than sit behind a desk in an office. I enjoy listening to client's life stories and making their current situation more comfortable. My current client calls me Dimples since I smile so often. We engage in stimulating intellectual and physical activities according to her ability. For the past four years I have helped enable her to stay home rather than moving to a facility. I am a Stamford native, studied at Colgate University and love the Japanese culture, needlepoint and singing.

I graduated from Nursing school in my home country of the Phillipines and worked several years there as a Registered Nurse before coming to the United States with my family. I have always enjoyed working in the healthcare field. Especially with elderly patients. I have owned and operated several Adult Residential care homes. I love interacting with my clients there is so much to learn from there experiences, This has always been a passion for me and I can't think of another job I would enjoy more.

I treat my clients with respect and serve them with kindness .I comply with the law and makes sure that my clients enjoy their rights and the comfort they get from my service. What makes me a good care giver is my ability to connect with my clients without invading their privacy and able to keep confidentiality.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where I have one on one interaction with other caregivers and patients both. l like older adults and feel l can get along well with a variety of elders. I learn everything I can, get creative when I have to and do my best. Caregiving is a huge personal accomplishment and I should be proud of my resourcefulness, flexibility and determination. Even with a difficult patient, caregiving can be on of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Im a professional caregiver and ive been doing this since 2006. I have completed a background check, finger printing, pca certificate, cpr training. I assst my patient in their daily activities, personal grooming, bathing, toileting, incontinence, exercise, errands, doctors appointments, meal prep and errands.

I have worked in health care as aide and CNA for 40 years. I have worked in nursing facilities and assisted living. The last six years I have been mainly working as live-in with clients. Home Health and Hospice. Companionship, take to appoints, run errands, grocery shopping, meal prep, med reminder, showers, housekeeping, laundry, General daily activities as client needs. I do not smoke or drink and pets are ok in the home. Have worked with RN, PT coming into the home and worked with just family seeing over things. Have my own car and full insurance coverage on it. My background check is through UT and is clear. My CNA training was taken at ISU, Pocatello, ID 9/2002. Now transferred to Ut.
