(1) There has always been something inside of me that drives me to reach out, to people that are suffering. I sincerely feel that my calling is to help them how ever I can. (2) I enjoy seeing people smile after I've rendered my caregiving services. (3) I always feel as if I've done my job well when, the client asks me to come back. (4) I have been a caregiver since 1991. It is my belief that my purpose on this earth is to provide the best care that I possibly can to thoughs in need. (5) I have both of my vaccination and my booster shot.

I am a very compassionate, detailed, and involved in the care of my clients. I have always been the caring type and have been working in the field since graduating high school. I enjoy the companionship the most about being a caregiver. I love talking to my clients and putting smiles on their faces.

I am a Registered Nurse. I am approachable, easy to mingle, respectful, kind-hearted, empathetic, reliable, hardworking, and always ready to learn. I always have this internal drive that propels me to help people when and where ever is needed even when I am not responsible for them. when my clients smile ( are happy), am happy too. I really care for people and also focusing on my career advancement.

The thing that makes me a great caregiver it my compassion. I am a sweetheart and I care so much about people. At first I became a caregiver because my sister was doing it I didn't know what it was but as I started to work I really enjoyed what I did which was make my client feel good. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is helping and actually talking and getting to know them.

I feel I am a great caregiver because since I began working over 6 years ago it has been caregiving. I started off as a co-op student during my senior year of high school. Upon high school graduation I was invited back to work as a regular employee, a nursing assistant, for Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Through my entire college career I remained as a nursing assistant for 5 years, when I moved my caregiving skills to a different environment and realm of work. I have been working as a direct care worker for the last year and a half working with mentally disabled individuals in the Lansing and Ypsilanti areas. I enjoy the personal relationships you get to build when giving care and knowing that I play a part in keeping my clients happy brings joy to my heart. I chose to become a care giver because I know my long term goal is to become a registered nurse, and I felt that care giving jobs were a great way to prepare myself for the compassion and comforting role a nurse should always play. A person achievement I am proud of is graduating with my bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 4 years, as well as continuing chasing my dreams of being a nurse even when my plan A fell through. The road has been long and sometimes discouraging but I am proud of myself for not giving up or changing my goals like I have watched some people do. I am the oldest of 5 siblings so in my opinion care giving has always been something I had to do and it came natural to me.

I became a caregiver to help people that may need assistance or help with everyday task. I know times are hard when you have to depend on others but I want to make a difference for someone who can depend on me for that extra care. I like being a caregiver because if I can make someone's day a lot easier, than that makes me proud that I'm doing some positive. My personal achievement that I am doing now is I currently enrolled back in school to get the education I need to become successful in my goals and career. I am a caring person, I like helping others I don't mind doing extra to get the job done. I am easy going and I love doing things for others.

I became a caregiver after my Grandmother passed away from cancer. I love helping people, entertaining people, and most of changing people's lives. I'm proud of my saluting the star awards and rehabilitation service star. I have made a difference in many lives. I'm very compassionate, outgoing, and lovable. I am very passionate about caring for others. I will make a difference rather big or small.
