9+ years of experience as a caregiver with current Home Health Aide, CPR, First Aide Certification . Due to my past I current experiences, I have acquired skills that will help me to assist clients with their activities of daily living like for exampls bathing and grooming, meal preparations, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, medication reminder, assist with doctors appointments etc. I have experience working with physical, mental and developmental disabilities clients , diabetic clients, bedbound clients , vision and hearing impaired clients etc I am a friendly and courteous person and Some of my strength are documentation's, Problem solver, following care plans, notify the right authority with concerns regarding clients, and communication. The part I love about being a caregiver is that I get to help someone while at thesame time learning and gaining new experiences.

I look at the person first before the patient.I always behave as if it was my family member.I like to help and I am a patient and easy going person.

I became a care giver because I love seeing people became indipendent. I love being a caregiver because it gives me joy to see people happy. It's very had for employers and the people I work for let go of me. I love to play at the same time get my job done. I take my job very serious.

I am a compassionate care giver and through personal family experience, understand the toll a disability takes not just on the individual but on their families as well. I think it is very important to help people with disabilities adapt to their environment so that they can make their positive contribution to it. Growing up with a sibling with a disability, it was always tough coming to terms with the fact that they could not perform all the tasks we did or do so with as much ease as we did. Once we understood that, it was a tough balancing act between helping when they faced difficulties and stunting their growth by making things too easy - till this day, we are still working on it. We have made some major progress recently as that sibling got their first job and is able to earn a living. We are making progress and I very happy about that.

I am a single mother of two beautiful children, one who is all grown up and the other who is six years of age. Being souly incharge of their wellbeing along with elderly grandparents who have now passed on, my passion to educate myself to better enable me as a care giver to those I love dearly is what brought me down the path I am on now. The thing I truely enjoy about the career I have chosen is the happiness on others face when I have helped relieved their pain or just have taking the time to listen and be their for them in time of need or when they just needed companionship. Throughout this whole journey I have learned so much about others, as well as about myself, and have continued to educate myself in the healthcare field. I have recently graduated college as a Respiratory Therapist and currently hold certifications in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and pediatric advance life support (PALS). I enjoy learning and keep an open mind so not to miss any opportunities to get to know others and learn and improve myself to become the best care giver possible.
