I have 20yrs experience in caregiver/companion. I started working as a caregiver after my father had a stroke and heart attack and i had no one to help me care for him. After my father passed away, i became committed to helping other family and it became my GOD GIFT to care for my clients with as much of love as it was my own family member. It give me great pleasure taking care of peoples. This is not just a job for me but a blessing!!! Assisting the elderly has become something that I am very passionate about, I treat my clients as they are part of my own family, with lots of respect and diginity, everyone deserves to be treated this way. I am an honest, reliable, and confident caregiver. I have a total of 44 years of caregiver experience with a variety of skill sets. I specialize in interacting with a client and making sure is feeling comfortable and supported throughout their care. I really enjoy 1:1 interfacing with clients to really get to know what their needs are and how I can support them in any way. Why Did I become a Caregiver? I became a Caregiver because my grandmother became real sick and I always wanted to take care of people. Also, I was taking Health classes in High School that lead me to become a Caregiver. What do I like about being a Caregiver? I like being a Caregiver because I am helping others with their needs. My name is Cassandra I am certified nursing assisted and I am also certified medical assistance, I am a fun loving person I love caring for elderly I lose my parents and grandparents at a very young age so being around elders reminds me of them.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others, I don't look at what I do as work because I enjoy it so much I enjoy the different people that I meet and the different things I learn. Well I have been a caregiver since I was 15 years old. I've always had a passion to take care of the elderly for several different reasons, for example seniors families not coming to see them or mistreating them for no reason at all. I've always been told the elderly are very wise and it's true. My personal achievement is if I come to my patients house and did everything I could do for them or even to see them smile I'm proud.
