I became a caregiver because I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others in need. My grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer's at the young age of fifty-five. I watched my beautiful grandmother who was full of life a woman who cared and loved her family. To watch my grandmother deteriorate and lose her memory and soon she did not know any of her family.. she always knew who I was for some reason she would call me her angel. The pain and hurt I felt that my grandmother could not live a normal life anymore. Me and my mom cared for my grandmother.. my grandmother passed away a few years later due to amonia. So I devoted my life to help others...I believe in my heart that care giving is my calling it feels so right!! I attended Long Beach City College to become a CNA. I did my internship in Long Beach at Broadway By The Sea.. I received my license for CNA. I was offered a job. I have been nursing since 2003. After I went on to school to receive my license for a HHA working in the home caring for the elderly. I have been employed with Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital since 2008 I love the elderly!!! I love helping the elderly. I love when I can make a difference in a patient life . I have a great personality.. Always giving 100% when caring for your love one. I am a wife,mother of four,and a grandma of eight beautiful grandchildren who I love dearly . I understand what it means to want the best care for your love one.

Hi my name is Alla, I have a passion for taking care of people and to be there for them for times of need. I have a long background of care giving and being in home care provider. In the past I worked for nursing home as a lead caregiver/med aide for about 4 years. Now I work part time as Medical Assistant/Surg Tech. I am registered care provider with DHS of Oregon. I became a caregiver because of the greater need of help for people who can't help themselves, what I like is seeing that the patient is being well taking care of. My personal achievement I am proud of is keeping my health under control. As for me as a person I like to see people healthy and happy, and I enjoy being around people that is uplifting and cheerful helping them enjoy life.

1..I love to help elders I feel so better in the end of my after I helped someone not be able to help themselves. 2.I use to love healthfield when I was in school then I end up learning cna and I become more I influenced by resident I worked with in nursing home . 3.I born and raised in Ethiopian I fled to kEnya refugee camp due to politics issues that going in my country ..I went through hard ship during rufugee camp and those life gave a lot experience and made better person I mean I become one patience,passionate, I feel people's pain as my own bc I learned how it feels .
