I have always had a heart for caring for people but my passion grew stronger when my mother passed away. I love being able to help a love one with everyday living. Not only assisting them with everyday care but keeping them as independent as possible. There are many things that keep me interested in being a caregiver but the most important one,I can be there for someone else's love one. I am a certified nursing assistant of 6 years,4 years of mental health and geriatric.

Am gentle, caring, and a God fearing person who is easy to work with. It gives me a sense of fulfillment to take care of the elderly and also when I make someone else happy it makes my day. Hence the reason I choose this line of work. Am responsible, and able to do all it takes to make any employment opportunity a wonderful experience for me and those I serve.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping those in need. Space and opportunity is what I like most about being a caregiver because it gives me the chance to show my caring abilities as well as my nurturing abilities. a personal achievement I am proud of and dealing with a nursing home is when one of my patients who was not able to feed her Self, overtime became able to do so. I am very loyal caring outgoing I love to smile and I love and enjoy life I love helping others and by knowing that I can help others and allow them to smile it's rewarding to me.

Being a caregiver isn't about giving care, its about caring to give. Caring to give help to someone that needs more help than the average person. Caring to give help to someone who can't do what they'd like on their own. Caring to give help to someone who has feelings, needs, and deserves to be as comfortable as possible in their time of need. TO BE a caregiver one should CARE TO GIVE A HUGE part of their life to make someone else's life all the much better and that is where my passion comes in. Seeing someone else smile or show flamboyant happiness because of something I DID for them is why I chose to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. I feel as though this occupation is one of the VERY FEW selfless occupations in the world.

I have worked in the medical field for over 15 years iam currently enrolled at unlv as a registered nurse for this year I love what I do even as a volunteer worker and a representive at your service when it comes to caring for patients and then some iam very creative like to work well others and would like to get into the business on my own for the near future.

I wanted to become a care giver at a very young age. It started when my grandmother had cancer. She needed daily care and seeing that I was to young at the start to become health care provider, I observed and learned. I once I became old enough to help with her care I helped as much as I was able to. Seeing the things that she went through softened my heart toward the people that could do very little on their own. Before she passed away she told me that this is something that I have a heart and the patience for becoming health care provider. I have always had an instinct to want to do something impact another individuals life for the better in anyway I possibly can.

I became a caregiver because I use to care for my grandmother before she passed away. Its the feeling I get knowing that I can help someone that needs a helpful hand. I like being able to express my kindness to someone by helping and giving them much attention as need that's why I like being a caregiver. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is graduating from high school and continuing my education as a college student. I am a 22 year old young lady that is very determined in everything I do. I love to show respect. I am well mannered and I treat others the way God would want me to treat everyone. I am very family oriented and a young lady of Christ. My motto for everyday is in order for someone to believe in you, you have to believe in yourself first.

I am proud of being a CNA. I plan to go back to school to get my LPN license in the near future. I have always wanted to be a nurse. I love taking care of children and the elderly. My dream is to own my own business taking care if children and the elderly.
