I have over 30 years experience in CNA, Psychic Tech and Home Healthcare. What attracted me to caregivers is a love of people. It's a way to give back, when you see the smile on the face of your client and their family it's priceless. Because I hold myself to a high standard. My mother who was sick with with this bloodline hereditary disease left her body weak and unable to use it .. we had to put her in a nursing home cause she kept on having strokes and not taking her medicine on time. When i got into high school i went into the medical field and got my certification to be a nursing assistant so that i could take my love for caring for people to the next level.

I am a hard working, loving person that enjoys helping others. I have a special needs child so I am familiar with working with trachs,ventilators,and mentally and physically dependent patients.

I have been a very compassionate, meticulous caregiver for over 20 years. I've operated in home health, hospital, and acute care settings. Also, within the 20 year span I have experience in a broad range of medical fields that has enhanced my career. I became a caregiver at the age of 20 caring for my grandfather of terminal cancer. I enjoyed the gratification and the enjoyment of fulfilling one's life with happiness. Being at the bedside to care for my patient is the most pleasurable environment to be in and to see them get the meticulous care they need. Also, to see them being nursed back to better health.

What makes me an amazing caregiver is my heart, compassion, dedication, motivation, and sensitivity. I am always paying attention to how one feels and how they would like to be cared for. What makes them comfortable? What keeps them from stressing? What can I do to help with their needs and improve their environment? I am currently in school for nursing to become a Nurse first and continue on to become a Nurse Practitioner. I have worked in a Nursing Home and am currently working at a Hospital. I love what I do. I became a caregiver when I was a junior in high school because I loved caring for/helping all people. I started caregiving when I was about seventeen years old, I loved to spend time with my great grandmother and when she became sick, there was no other place I wanted to be then there to help her.
