Single mom of a teenager Started caregiving 6 years ago The people I have met has made me a stronger person and I love what I do, love the variety of people I have met , but in this job you have to be very patient and know how to deal with a lot of challenges and behaviors, are jobs aren't easy and you have to deal with stressful situations and know how to deal with them , every year we have to take are annual Training and refresher courses, my main specialty is Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, but that's why I love my job to help people and sometimes they need to someone to talk too, or just a shoulder to cry on, being a single parent makes me stronger in doing my job and know I have someone to live for and help older clients in there daily lives and endeavors.

After many years of working directly with people in diverse professional settings. I am seeking Nanny/Babysitting/CNA/GNA/ CMT positions. This position will allow me the opportunity to utilize my current experience. I've raised 3 children as a single mother and homeschool one of my children for 10 years. I have many years experience in child care. When taking care of my mom who was seriously ill during her last days of life, I became interested in helping those who cannot take care of themselves. I have completed my training at Howard Community College as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant. I've also had training as a Certfied Medicine Tech.
