What makes me a good caregiver is that I'm dependable,trustworthy,I'm very compassionate about my clients well being of life, I also love helping others since I was a child love to see my clients smile and achieve he or she goals.

I'm a loving and caring person . I love to help people out in any way i can help. I've work with people who had special needs, Elderly with Alzheimer's and people with disabilities. Growing up as a kid in elementary school i had to care for my grandmother before school so every since then I been i have been Intrigue by it .

Hello, my name is Dana. I am a loving, fun overachieving, outgoing and caring caregiver who loves to build bonds with the clients and bring happiness so they don't feel alone. I became a caregiver because both of my grandparents became ill and I wanted to make sure they were getting the best and correct treatment that they could get and who best to get it from than a family member or someone who feels like they are apart of the family. They passed away but I still feel as though I can be the help someone needs. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love getting to know the clients personally and creating a good bond and letting them know that they aren't alone and someone does care about them. Well i want to become a caregiver because i love people i am a people person and i have had older grandparents and an older parent i know theres nothing like having compassion for an elderly person and treating them with the up most care i look at it like this the elderly have feelings too and if that was my parents or grandparents what kind of care would i like them to have . When i was caring for my grandmother it took alot of patients and time to get her use to someone doing things for her because she was so use to doing everything on her own. my grandmother sufferred with alheimers, dimentia and took alot to get her to understand that she needed someone to help care for her. i enjoyed that feeling that i was accomplishing something and it kept a smile on her face to know that she had someone there to love her and take care of her. I am a very patient caring person i love people ,I am a very friendly and loving individual, outgoing.

As a child I've always wanted to be a nurse. I enjoyed growing up looking after the smaller children in my family. The older I got, I had to help take care of my grandparents when they became ill. I feel that if you're in the medical field you should always treat people the way you would want to be treated. My last job consisted of me taking care of people with mental and physical disabilities. It really humbles me and warms my heart to be able to brighten someone's day and make them feel better. Getting my CNA certificate has helped me move one step closer to becoming an RN. I really enjoy meeting new people.

I am 23 , also a mom of 3. My personality traits that help me be an amazing caregiver is for for my personality, my kindness && the love I have working with the elderly. I am well known && well loved for the kind of person I am at all my previous jobs! One thing that pursued me into caregiver was that I love to help people! I was raised by my 2 wonderful grandparents & helped my grandmother with the house cleaning, cooking& taking care of my sick grandfather. As I grew up after high school I volunteered at the nursing homes in my hometown , bay city,tx .I went to school for medical assistant, & I am a single parent to a seven year old. We have 2 dogs. And I have decided to go to school for occupational therapy. I love helping others who in need & will put my whole heart into what ever I do. My grandmother recently past away in a nursing facility & I swore to her myself & god that I would be the light in the darkness for others .

Hi my name is Ashanti, Im partly deaf(Left ear is completely gone (Right Ear)only has 65% of hearing due to my rare skin Condition(Porokeratosis) it is not continuous...... Being patience and passionate with clients makes me a good caregiver. I decided I wanted to become a caregiver when I was 15 years old going to work with my mom off and on as a helper. One of my achievements that I'm proud of myself for is being able to overcome all obstacles in life by working and doing things that I was told by medical professionals I couldn't do; makes me feel like I can do anything my heart desires with baby steps.

The reason why I came a CNA is because when I was child I always helped my grandparents, so when I got older I decide to come a CNA because, I love helping others. personally I love working with people. I also like helping people being there when they need. I worked homehealth aid 4 yrs in the past I loved it... since then I graduated from school for medical assistant.. I got certified with that so ill be able to work with people period in hospital clinics and private dr offices.. so im truly interested and cant nobody else do a better job then me..

I was raised by my dad and the military. He was always full of life, but when he had a heart attack and later found out that he had hereditary liver cancer he slowly became in need of assistance. I was the only one that he trusted. I took care of him until the day he passed. I later moved to NM and became very close friends with an Army Veteran and his family. He designated me to his power of attorney before his surgery. The survey didn't go as planned and he was hospitalized for 2 months most of the time in ICU. I took care of him in the hospital and after returning home. I also was his brothers care giver after being injured.

I became a caregiver because I spent years providing care for numerous loved ones as a second nature. Caregiving is a joy for me because I am able to provide a hands on love and care for others. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is the fact that I found my passion , caregiving, and I am able to fulfill it. I am the definition of a people person and very easy to get along with. I do my best to leave a smile on the face of anyone I come in contact with.

I love helping people, I have provided this service and dedicated years off and on to helping the elderly. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I took care of my mother for 8 years until her death. I loved that I was there for her and her neighbors family members. I have been a CNA and an MA. I also obtained a Dialysis PCT certification and I have worked for Davita Dialysis for 2 years. I have graduated from Wayne County Community with my Associates Degree and I am currently taking classes for Surgical Technology.
