I originally wanted to become a caregiver for my uncle who passed away. After he passed away it transpired into wanted to help people and make them feel good/ better despite their conditions. I love to uplift and encourage people so this seemed like the perfect way to do it ! What I enjoy the most is being humbled by the job it makes me appreciate life and people more than ever. I feel good knowing that I was able to help someone whether physically, mentally or even emotionally. That is the truly rewarding part of it. I think my social skills and my vibrant personality help to connect even better with people. A client once told me that my smile lot up the room whenever I arrived to the facility. That was the best compliment I ever received. I'm proud to be a caregiver and I can't wait to help even more people if given the opportunity.

Hello, my name is Paul. I'm a 49 year old guy that is caring, compassionate, patient, and hard working guy that has a good personality, and positive attitude. I want to be a Caregiver because I want to help people, make a positive impact on people's lives, and help people maintain an independent lifestyle at home. I have experience as a Caregiver for my mother following a heart surgery and for my wife following a shoulder surgery. I'm really good at dealing with people due to my 11 years of customer service experience while I was in Retail. In closing, I am very passionate about being a Caregiver and helping people.

I am a caregiver because I love people. There are not enough people to give care and attention to folks who need another set of strong yet gentle hands. I like to listen, talk and generally make people feel important and worth while. Caring giving is rewarding work. It makes me feel good when I can ease a burden and make someones day better because I was there. I am very proud of my ability to make friends and win trust. I worked for a nursing home in Iowa. There was one resident in particular that was hard for CNA staff to get along with. She wasn't very friendly at first but I squatted down in front of her, and explained this was the job I chose to do because I love helping people. She could see I was sincere, and warmed up to me knowing she wasn't a burden to me, and I liked helping her. I am in my second semester of school for Respiratory Therapy. I am love being in my yard gardening. My first grandchild will be 1 year old this July 21st. I'm a pretty good cook and a tidy house keeper.

I go above and beyond to make my clients feel comfortable and independent. I like being a caregiver because I like helping people and making a connection with people. The thing I enjoy most is making the person laugh and smile. A personal achievement I am proud of the children I am raising and the degree I have in Phlebotomy.

Hi what made me want to be a caregiver was working back east at a rest home as a housekeeper and being around the elderly everyday and seeing that they all needed help in some way and just being around them and knowing there are so many people that dont have anyone and need help,and friendship and I knew then I wanted to be a caregiver someday. I enjoy helping others and what makes me a great caregiver is my heart is in the job. I'm real I'm honest,trustworthy and very reliable, caring and want to be the best I can be and let clients know they are in very good care and will not be disappointed in my caregiving and they are my main focus them and only them when I'm working.

I like making people happy, taking care of them treating them like their part of my family. I have experience just because my little sister is handicapped she cant walk and i help her with her daily routine. When she feels down i try my best to make her happy.
