I became a caregiver because that's the career I chose to get a degree in. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to help others help themselves I'm proud of working as a Pca/Caregiver I learn something new everyday About me? I am interested in a position were I can experience to my full potential and advancement. I am a very hard worker and I have very good people skills.

What drove me to become a great caregiver is the love my elders should receive, respect, and to have someone that cherishes the days that they have. What attracted me to become a caregiver was, when i was a little girl I would watch my aunt and grandma care for my great grandma and grandpa. I thought it was the most loving thing and I knew that one day I was going to become help for someone. I enjoy the moments and the connections that are built, and love to make people happy. I'm proud that I got the chance to watch my family care of others, and for that I will be able to carry that on for my children and for their children to come.

When i was 16 years old, my grandmother got into an accident, which made her disabled, around that time my mom had to work for her family. I had to take care of my grandmother, by doing so I started falling in love with the idea of care, the feeling when you are helping another human being, the feeling of knowing you are making another person feels good, you are putting a smile on their face, and knowing that they know it's okay, that someone is here for them. I was happy I made her feel good, I also learned a lot from her, we became close, and till this day she's telling me thank you. I have been doing care for a very long time, and I love it, i feel like I finally found something that makes me happy and I enjoy doing it. We all need to feel special at one point and I'm glad I'm able to give that to someone. I treat each patient like family, one of the reason why I believe I'm a good caregiver is because I developed a strong bound with them, they becomes part of my life, a family, and I know I'll always have someone to talk to.
