Hello my name is Kya Broadway, I have been a caregiver for four years. In elementary school I remember my teacher asking what would I like to be when I got older and my response " a nurse!" I have watched my mom in the nursing field for years after nursing she became a phlebotomist and I always felt the need to follow her foot steps due to me having a disabled sister and grandmother having her leg amputated! So I spent my adults years interested in helping others. Taking care of my clients really makes my day and makes me happy knowing I left an impact on others! Everyone that I have helped along my journey of being a caregiver has always expressed how important I am to them and how I brighten their lives so much more. Hearing things like that just brings me so much joy!

What makes me a great caregiver is that im really patient,fun with loving personality and attitute.what attracts me the most on this job is that i will have to care about someone who needs my help and get to learn more everyday. I enjoy alot to talk to the person make her feel confortable been around me giving them their privacy and trust. My achievement im the most proud of is that I get to be a person that cares about people , a good heart person!!

I wanted to learn to be a caregiver so when my parents get old to take of my father. He has past 16 yrs now. I enjoy taking care of elderly I love there smiles.

What makes me wants to be a caregiver is I love helping people, I had a nephew that was disabled, he was autistic and I helped him with his daily activities. I looked after him like he was my son. I want to be there for that person. Because I know it can be hard sometimes with the complications but this is the reason why I wants to be a caregiver so I can help with that and actually be there for them also my grandmother had just passed away not too long ago and I was there for her and she meant everything to me and I just love talking to her and at this time I really would love to sit there and just talk and be there for someone.Help them live life and be a friend as well as a caregiver.

I wanted to become a caregiver because after my mom fell ill from cancer, there was so much medically that I did not understand. So I became an E.M.T and learned more about how to care for someone in need. I have always been a compassionate and caring person, I just wanted to know more medically. I like being able to make a difference in someone's life, anything I can do to make it easier or more enjoyable makes me happy. I became an E.M.T and attended fire academy, I then volunteered for my local fire department for more than a year. I am a 254 year old female. I am a proud mommy to be. In my spare time I really enjoy working out and going on adventures. I truly know the meaning of making life worth living.

I love working with elderly people My first time that I work with a elderly person thats when I said to my self that I love the job since then I wanted I enjoy helping elderly people cause they always need help they count you to care for them and give them love Im proud of my that I love the job and I want help care for the elderly people

I became a caregiver because I love helping the elder people. without them there really nothing. They so sweet and in need of help. The thing I love about been a caregiver is helping I think that's a big thing in elderly people life. I am proud that I gradate school and is able to help people and do what I love to do. I like to think of myself as someone who has patience, is always in a good mood, I am caring and nurturing, and I work very hard in any and all endeavors I partake in. Caregiving is something I found interest in due to the fact that I have helped my grandmother around the house with various tasks such as cooking, cleaning, house work, yardwork, etc. Also I love to help people, improving the livelihood, and living of others is something that I am extremely passionate about!

What makes me a great caregiver is I am compassionate and empathetic toward my clients I communicate well with them and treat them how I would want to be treated. What made me want to be a caregiver is caring for my now deceased sister who had a rare disease, I love caring for others and making sure they can still live a happy life. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is making my client's lives a little easier assisting them throughout the day. A personal achievement I am especially proud of is that through caregiving I not only am able to help others but I can do it while making a life for myself and my family.

I'm have a passion to help the elderly I'm patient kind and have compassion I started out taking care of the elderly in 2000 and fell in love with the line of work I just love helping them in time of need I am proud of myself for taking care of my 3 children alone

I am a helpful, loving person that wants happiness for others just as much as I want it for myself. I believe helping people is one of the best things a person can do, especially when they can't fully care for themselves. Being a care giver is something that I have done most of my adult life in one way or another (about 5 years professionally). I helped my grandfather before his dementia set in, and was his main caregiver when he started struggling with dementia and eventually could no longer care for himself at all. Watching someone that was like my father go down that path was painful, but I consider it a privilege and a blessing that I was able to be there for him in his last years. I'm a very honest, loving, loyal person; and will care for whomever I'm caring for the same as I did my grandfather.

Hi, my name is Dayanna and I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Taking care of others is something I enjoy doing. It makes me feel as if I can better someone by small simple task like reminding them to take their meds or even to put on their glasses. Promoting self independence is big to me. I want to make you feel as if you don't need help, because you are capable of doing it on your own. I am very responsible, honest, trustworthy, reliable, and most of all heartwarming. Giving help to others is something I look forward to doing.
