Caregiving jobs can be extremely rewarding for the right type of person. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. like older adults I can get along well with a variety of elders and family members. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like making them smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in my attention to details.

I am an easy going, vibrant, goofy, high spirited, exciting, adventurous and full of life vibrant young lady. I am also shy and can be a bit quiet. Being a caregiver really takes a lot of time, kindness, patience and compassion. I also have to be present, attentive, supportive, dependable, cooperative, creative showing confidence and trustworthiness. The benefits of satisfaction knowing that my time and energy is helping others lead happier, more fulfilled lives. Often I receive as much in return from those I care for as they give in the form of lasting relationships, gratitude, and lessons learned. I can see the impact I'm making on a daily basis beyond simply furthering the interests of a company. Being a caregiver is an emotionally satisfying experience and can provide a profound sense of purpose in life. Caregiving is a huge personal accomplishment, and anyone should be proud of your resourcefulness, flexibility and determination. For example even with a difficult parent, caregiving can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.

I'm a single mother and now a grandmother. I previously worked in a mentally challenged home with adults. I took care of my patients for over a year. I have a grandmother who suffers from Alzheimer's so I know the different stages they go through. My oldest daughter was born with Biliary Atresia that's a liver condition. I've took care of people for many years some my relatives and some was not. I know how important family is and how they should be treated. I have a huge heart. I know good caregivers are hard to find especially when families want to take care of their love ones on their own but can't. My family been through it. So you're not alone.

I became a care giver because I love to help my elders. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to help someone out and learn about them. As a retired nurse; what I enjoyed most was the time spent talking to and observing my patients. As a caregiver, it makes me happy knowing that my clients are able to stay in their homes safely because of the role I play. I've always enjoyed working with the geriatric population and I find being a caregiver allows me to do something I love.

I am naturally very polite and kind to anyone even strangers. I understand that one good deed could make a whole person's day, even if it is just sharing a conversation with them. I like to see things from every single perspective and pride myself on how open-minded I am. I also take my work very seriously, especially the people involved. I love all animals and all cultures are super interesting to me! My over all goal in any day is too stay positive, even when it can be hard.

I became a caregiver because, I have always enjoyed working with people. With just my 10 plus years in customer service, I have enjoyed being a person to help with any need a person may encounter. I would go out of my way to help people. I love the personality of the patients. Sitting with a client and listening to their past stories, bring me joy, or helping them to complete a goal that they may struggle with. Being there just for the little things, someone to keep them company or someone to help them cook a meal. I just love to help. A personal achievement that I am proud of is, A church member, at a church that I use to attend, had surgery. This was my first eye opener to going to school and becoming a caregiver. I really enjoyed helping her get back to living. I'm so glad that I had this opportunity, because not only did I like helping, I felt it gave me a since of direction. I'm a dependable, hardworker, honest, God fearing, lovable, energized person, that dont mind helping anybody. I have 3 kids that I'm thankful for. I'm a neat and tidy person, thats ready to work.
