I became a caregiver because it was something I was always interested in and also when my sister got diagnosed with Lupus I saw how much helped she needed and I knew this was what I was supposed to do. I like being a caregiver because I'm always meeting new people and seeing the joy it bring people who really depend on you. Hello I'm Raven Bell and I'm currently a CNA and I love my job as a CNA helping others and taking care of others on a day to day basis to help fulfill their needs. I love when my patients are happy with the work that I do.

My experience in the CNA field and non-medical caregiving came in hospitals and in home care. Accumulating 30 plus years of experience. Caring for individuals and easing duties of families has been a great love of mine. My goal is to continue to expand on the care of individuals.

I place myself in the condition of the weak elderly. I vision that someday I can be in that condition. This motivates me to have compassion on them and work hard to support them. I took care of my aged father who suffered from stroke for ten years before he died. His high social demand at this time motivated me to be elderly supporter. My father's condition which I assisted motivated me to become a care giver. I do it wholeheartedly and families of passed away clients sometimes adopt me into their family. Most often they call me even when the work is over.

Let me start by telling you how I got into health care. My mother Died in 2017 and it made me want to be a CNA so I could help take care of other peoples parents and grand parents being I'll never get the oppurtunity to take care of my mother in her elderly years. Im a mother to 4 wonderful children who i spend all my time with when im not working to improve our lives. I enjoy being around the elderly and taking care of them. I love listening to their stories of how they grew up and learning from their past experinces. I think the achievement im most proud of is pushing myself to go to school to be a CNA. I look forward to going back and getting my CNA 2 and medication certificate.
