I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I want to see people that take care of these patients act professionally, and treat the patients like the way they (caregivers) would want to be treated. Everybody tells me I have a wonderful personality, and they can tell I care about the patients needs. I like to have fun, spending time with family. I am here to help. What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? - As an artist, I tend to see the little things that many overlook. I have been told by many of my clients, coworkers, friends and family, that I am a calming spirit to be around. I have experience working with individuals with physical and psychiatric disabilities. What attracted you to being a caregiver? - I always loved people and have a motherly desire to care for others. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? - I love hearing about the people's lives and connecting with them. -- I am teaching my son American Sign Language, while I am not fluent I do hope to be one day. I also understand a little bit of Spanish, although I can read it better than speak it.

I'm a good care giver because I love to help others and take care of them it really makes me feel happy and I got in to it because it's something that makes me happy

I love helping people when they need help and can't do for themselves. I get along with people fast, always there when they need me. Also love having a bond so they can talk to me if they have anything going on

I think the fact that I am diabetic and also have experience with taking care of my grandpa who has dementia, helps me to be a great caregiver. Not only that but I have a kind and helping personality which also helps with being a caregiver. The thing that I enjoy the most is helping people in need and also meeting and listening to peoples stores. A great achievement of mine is getting my diabetes in control and being able to manage it by myself

I have always enjoyed helping other who are in need and have had studied to take care of the elders, as well as do some practices for it. They were some great experiences and enjoyed every moment

A passionate caregiver

I love to help people and I am very passionate about taking care of others. From an early age I always enjoyed taking care of my grandparents and found my true passion in being a caregiver for elderly people. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is being able to make people smile. I find joy in making people's everyday tasks easier for them. I am most proud of how much I have been able to accomplish as a caregiver including all the trainings and special courses that I was able to complete in the last seven years of my experience.

The things that help me be a care giver is my heard working personality, The thing that brought me to being a care giver is the feeling of helping others ,it makes me feel good to help others so I love doing it.The thing I enjoy most about being a care giver is helping others and building a relationship with those around me .The personal achievement I am proud of is becoming a big sister I know that really isn't an achievement for me but my little brother is my whole world .

I'm an extremely empathetic, caring and compassionate person. I am a caretaker by nature and have always felt that doing such work I was born to do. I grew up taking close care of family members and got great joy from doing so. I feel caretaking gives me incredible purpose and can't imagine doing anything else.

Hi my name is Serenity Gilliam! I am currently in pre nursing school, along with on my way to get my CNA certification. What attracted me to being a caregiver is growing up with my great grandparents, I've always been Ken to growing up doing practices typical caregivers would achieve. To add, what would make me a great care giver is my patience, knowledge of the older generation, and ability to properly take care of elders. My main goal is to help people a much as I can, along with making sure my clients feel more secure in their own homes.

I love working with elderly people I've always wanted to do it what attracted me to being a caregiver was it was my first job out of high school and I loved it I love the clients I work with in the elderly that I work with I love every single client and a personal achievement I am proud of that it is one job that I can accomplish and I love work working with elderly and I love working in the healthcare field

I went to school to become a CNA because I really care for others. I don't have much experience working as a caregiver but I did work in a nursing home for a few months and cared for many patients at one time. I love people and this would be a great opportunity for me because I have a newborn baby to take care of.

I have been helping to care for my father who was combat wounded in Iraq. My mother has many major medical issues that I assist her with. I enjoy being able to help get people to feel better.

I am 26 years old and enjoy spending time with my family and riding our horses. I believe the best thing that makes me a caregiver is that I'm compassionate and caring. I ran a live in assisted home in Eatonton Ga for 5 years. It was our own family ran business because we just loved people and believed they deserve very fair care as if they would be one of our own. I have been a restaurant manager for 20 years off and on and I am a certified serve safe protection manager. I traveled for Publix stores for 12 years doing retail and building stores. And I love people and I would only treat people with Love and compassion. I'm a mother to 5 boys and 3 of those were special needs children. I understand special needs. I now have 5 grand children. I miss the care field it is the most fulfilling job I ever had. Old people's stories are the best.

My grandparents are a big motivation for this career path, I want to give back and spread compassion. The best thing about being a caregiver is meeting new people and getting to know them. Whether it's the elderly, children, or animals I've always had a passion for helping others. This is my 5th year in this career and it's been an amazing experience.

I wanted to become a caregiver because of my grandma. She's getting old and can barely do things on her own. I would go to her house everyday and make sure she is okay , needs help or just taking her places she needs to go . Once I started to get older I knew by helping her that there's a lot of people just like her that are out their that need help too . I love to help people and make life for elderly people easier by knowing they can have still some independence or assistance with people that can't do everything on their own .

To whom it may concern: I recently attended and finished the Nurse Assistant Program from Eastlake Medical College and was fortunate enough to pass the California State Board for the course. And here I am, trying my luck in your good company for a Certified Nursing Assistant position. After completion of 100 hours of clinical rotation and having close interaction with the patients, I firmly believe that this is my calling. I had the unique chance of working with various patients with different health conditions, personalities, and backgrounds in life. Some patients are appreciative of what you do; and some have unique character that will push you to your limits but you know that you are there to be patient and understanding. These are qualities that makes a great nurse. A part from empathy that one nurse must possess, I have a genuine care for the patients. As I have learned, we serve the patients first before ourselves. I am also a people-person. I love working with people from all walks of life. I am courteous, dependable, and is able to complete tasks in a timely manner. As we all know, nursing profession is ever changing. We need someone who is flexible; able to meet patient demands and quality of nursing.
