Being a mother, I have learned several traits that has allowed me to be great as a caregiver. These traits include patience, compassion, the ability to listen and understand others as well as being able to aid with problem solving. I am interested in being a caregiver because I enjoy being in the company of elderly people. They always have a lot of knowledge to impart on me. As a result, I learn a lot from them. I enjoy being able to help others, learning from them and becoming a friend. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to go to school and earn my degree. Due to my going to school, I was able to learn more about Alzheimer's Disease and obtain a certificate for completing the class. Finally, I was able to graduate with my Associate's Degree in Medical Assistant.

I feel me loving to help people. The fact that i pay close attention and enjoy meeting new people each day helps me to be a great health care provider. I became a cna because i wanted to be able to make a difference in peoples lives. When they have no hope id be there hope there motivation to keep going. One reason to continue to enjoy life .

I think a great caregiver is some one who is compassionate and caring and love what they do. I got into the nursing field because I took care of my Grandmother until she pasted. I loved it so much I began to research it. I enjoy the companionship of the elder and love talking about their childhood memories.

I am a great caregiver because I care and strive to work better, as each day passes. I chose to become a caregiver, because patient care is my passion. I love helping people improve their quality of life.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am genuine at what I do. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and making people happy. It makes me happy knowing I made someone's day and that I accomplished something. Seeing people smile makes me smile!

I love to work with the elderly and children. I'm currently in school to become a registered nurse. I have done home care since I was 18 years old. I had the same patient for 4 years + and I still have a great relationship with her. I am very patient and kind when it comes to others. I would treat your family member like they are my own. I am also very dependable.

Im am a 19 year old CNA , I've been in this in field of work for almost 2 years. I started doing this when I was 16 I started of being a caregiver. I got my certification about 6 months ago through UPMC senior facilities. I really enjoy being a caregiver & helping people. Ive worked with many types of people with different disabilities & those who can no longer perform their activities of daily living.

I became a caregiver after my husband became ill. He had a great caregiver during his first stay in the hospital. She was so kind and compassionate, not just with but our whole family. I wanted to give that kind of support to others. I am compassionate, a little stern, supportive, a good listener , fun and love to laugh. I am very serious about skin care and comfort.

I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Pennsylvania. I have worked in healthcare since I graduated high school. From nurse aid , medical records, front office staff , surgical scheduler, and certified ophthalmic assistant. My farther was an amputee and my mom had dementia. I cared for them both at home until they moved to assisted living and eventually skilled nursing. I know how to navigate and fight for the proper care of your loved ones within the healthcare system. I would be happy to assist you in the care of your loved ones. I enjoy animals and would be happy to help with those as well.

I am very outgoing, caring . I love helping people out and getting to know new people . I enjoy doing home health care and being doing it for about 3 years now. What I enjoy most about caregiving as the activities you get to join in with client . I am very proud of being able to help others out .

I love caring to people some i was young, i have a grandma, who died at the age of 113years old, i took care of her till her last breath, my dad saw that i love caring for people,he encouraged me to go for nursing, which has been the best part of my life to be helping people, and saving lives etc. I'm passionate, God fearing, sympathize, and empathize with families, treat everyone around me with respect and dignity

I have been a CNA for over 20 years what attracted me to being a caregiver is I took care of my grandfather and just seeing the things that he went through and helping him throughout everything made me want to get into this field I've worked in both long-term and short-term care I'm currently getting ready to go to school for LPN I love Caring for people and would like to continue to for years to come

I have worked in skilled nursing and home health with a experience in caring for dementia patients. I am looking for weekend work due to me working 40 hours Monday through Friday. I chose to be a care giver because of many reasons. I care a lot, I'm a very patient person, loyal, responsible, reliable, and I'm currently in nursing school that a plus. However, I do enjoy providing companionship and emotional support, being a caregiver makes other's lives less lonely and more joyful. It also helps them stay connected with their community and remain independent for longer periods of time. What attracted me to be a caregiver is that I love working in a job where I am appreciated so much. My clients notice what I've done for them and it makes them happy too. I love making a difference in other people's lives. I know what I do helps them to stay living independently in their own homes, Caring for other people makes me feel valued. I have wonderful relationships with my clients. They enjoy telling me their stories, sometimes from years ago and I get pleasure from listening to them. And I get great job satisfaction from my job
