My name is Shatera Rambo, I am a very friendly, energetic, compassionate, fun loving person. I started doing caregiving when my aunt was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw......she is in remission for 12 years and I'm still caring for her......the love and passion I have for helping people and making them feel better or just bringing them joy gives me a since of happiness and fulfillment ......I come from a big family and am very family oriented......I am proud of graduating with my dual degree in business and biology in hopes that one day I can open up a senior center.

I've always been a caring person. Sometimes people say I care too much. I love helping people in anyway I can. From babies to adults, it doesn't matter the age. My biggest achievement is my children. They are my pride and joy. Everything I've done and continue to do is for them. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to be in the healthcare field in some form

I became a caregiver after taking care and working with family members and senior citizens who were unable to care for themselves. Taking care of other people is something I love to do and treat them with respect. One of my sisters was severely burned as an infant and I was given the responsibility to look after her as well as many other people with chronic illnesses. I was exposed to caring for people with challenging sickness and help restore wellness. I am a very compassionate person with a tender heart.

I became a care giver because I love caring for people. I love making people happy is what I love about caregiving. My personal achievements would have to be seeing the results of my work and satisfied clients. I consider myself to be a very reliable, punctual, responsible and caring person.

I think I am a great caregiver because I have a great deal of experience, patience and compassion towards our elderly community. I have had my grandparents live with us over the years and have enjoyed spending a great deal of time with them. Some of my greatest memories have been with being able to help them in their time of need. I enjoy helping wherever I can in grooming, cleaning, cooking, conversation, running errands and assisting in exercise. I am proud of being able to be there for my grandma twice when she was about to fall. I was able to catch to catch her in time before hitting the ground. I think our elders have worked very hard their whole lives to help others and now it is our turn to honor them and show respect by helping them.

I have been caregiving for about 1 year now and “still love what I do”. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.

My name is Shaterra Bellazan. I am a 23 year old recent graduate of Jackson State University. My passion for caring for other came directly from my home. Always caring for my mother who has lupus & my grandma and dad who had cancer. I am patient & kind. I am always willing to learn and grow.
