I became a caregiver because my daughters grandmother was paralyzed from her breast down while I was living with her she had a CNA that would come everyday and bed bath her fix her breakfast and just whatever was needed and that just motivated me to go to school to get my CNA and now I've been a CNA for 18 years I love the one on one interaction that home care gives I love knowing that my patients/ clients are satisfied with my work I love what I do I just keep in mind that I would want my grandmother and parents treated properly when it comes time for them I know how it is to work with caregivers that are in it for a check you have to have compassion in this line of work I have that compassion

1. I think that some people just have a desire to want to help others and to provide them with a safe, warm, and comforting environment. There is nothing else that I would rather do. 2. The smile on someone's face after seeing that I was the one who put it there couldn't make me any happier. 3. In my previous employment, because of the outstanding care that I provided I was able to secure a large donation for the agency. 4. I am a dedicated, hard working, spirited, and compassionate individual. I look to better the lives of those around me.

My heart is definitely within the job, I absolutely love what I do! I just have a passion for helping people, anything I can do to make someone's day better I'm jumping at the opportunity.

I am a very outgoing, dependable, energetic and trustworthy person and I am happiest when I am helping people. I became interested in pursuing a second career in health care during the time that I was in-home caregiver for my father, who was diagnosed with ALS. I took care of all of his needs in my home until he passed away in 2011. I am an attentive, caring and compassionate caregiver with extensive life experience and I am a life long resident of Las Vegas and Henderson. I am very proud of the work I have done for this community, both through being a certified nursing assistant and hospice volunteer.
