I become a caregiver in 2009 because I developed a passion for helping people when I was 7 and began to care for my 84 year old grandmother. I like the fact that being a caregiver makes me appreciate life more and more.I am so proud I was able to go to nursing school to further myself in the field. I am a people person and I care a lot, I love helping people in need.

Hello , I have been a caregiver and worked in the medical field for 10 years now , I have worked for Silverado in Belmont hills a company that provides care for patients in facilities & in their homes with Dementia, Alzheimer's , stoke , cancer , diabetes and ALS . I have provided Rx (Medication) reminders, assistance with meal prep/feeding , bathing , transfers and much more .

I have worked in Assisted Living communities for 9 years. I was an activity director for 7 of those years and I am currently director of a memory care unit. I love working with the elderly population, I find it very rewarding. I think it's important to hear their stories and in a society where youth is everything, it's important that they have someone making them feel needed and wanted and they are still a vital part of society. I am currently employees full time , I am only looking for part time late afternoon /some weekends.
