Because We Care

Not only is nursing my career, but it's my passion. With almost 10 years of care giving experience, helping my clients back to good health and making a difference in their live is motivation for me to continue on this path. I am currently an LPN in school to become an RN with ambitions of one day soon opening a healthcare facility. I have home health experience as well as hospice experience. The last three years I have worked in a nursing home and I absolutely love seeing the smiles on the residents' face each morning/evening I arrive and leave. I assisted in taking care of my grandmother at home before she passed away and I am currently doing the same for my grandfather. With that being said, I find myself able to put myself in the position of my clients' family members and provide the support and comfort they may need as well.

I treat person as if they were my mother or father..I make sure they are well groomed and I love to help them enjoy their day...I want to be there for want every they may need..I have lots of love and compassion..The reward for me is to know they feel safe and comfortable with me.

I am a Grandmother, and a mother of 3. I have been doing care giving for about 15 years and what I enjoy the most is putting a smile on my patients face when I step into a room or facility. I'm a very outgoing person who enjoys being a companion and assisting those in their everyday living. I love walks around the park, watching movies, going out to eat, and reading.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy assisting my clients with what that need to promote independence. I enjoy listening to them talk about their live and prepearing their meals, and keeping there sorroundings clean. I have met lots od wonderful people from my career and I enjoy meeting people.

I naturally became a caregiver by helping my mom take care of my disabled brother with heart conditions growing up. I then volunteered to take a year off from college to help take care of my dad's mother, then again left one job to move in and take care of my mother's mother. I've always been someone who cared whole heartedly about other people and I believe that EVERYONE should have someone there for them when they need assistance that actually cared versus just working a job and treating them horrible. I like the feeling that being a caregiver gives me. It's a tough job emotionally at times but it's so rewarding knowing that I am the one that was there for someone during their time of need. That I done something good in the world and hopefully changed their life for the better.

I'm 32 years old. I've been working as a Home Health Aide/Live in Caregiver for over 12 years. I enjoy working as a caregiver because it's such a rewarding job. I feel like my job actually has a purpose and makes a difference in people's lives. I'm very attentive, patient, reliable, loyal, and extremely caring. As of right now my schedule is open so I can adapt and work with you for a many hours/days you may need a caregiver or care for your loved one for only a few hours/days a week.
